SkiBaires: what do users think?

Natalie Sostre: Happy to have taken classes with you! Excellent either to venture into the Snow for the first time or to perfect the technique! Such kind people, good vibes, professional and with all the knowledge, they gave us the necessary tools to break it this season on the slopes of Bariloche! Highly recommended in every way! See you soon!!!

Juan Pablo Lesniak: Excellent attention and service. My kids learned barbarian despite having only attended 2 classes and they had a lot of fun skiing in the snow. The attitude of the excellent teachers. All service very professional and recommended.

Leandro C: I went 3 classes before going to the snow. They are rugs that simulate the mountain. The reality is that it is very different. It is only useful if you have time and money to spare, something is learned, but nothing to do with taking a class in the middle of the mountain. The latter is used ten times more. And the price is the same. At least I learned to put on the equipment and basic notions. You have to be lucky or an attractive woman to get noticed in class, otherwise you'll probably be left practicing alone most of the time. Not a minor fact, all the opinions seem from new users. Another fact. It would seem that the more classes you take, the slower they explain to you, as if to "fill" the time. If you go I recommend no more than 4 classes
Response: Hi leandro. Thanks for your constructive criticism. Your comments are very positive, it shows that you love Google and its reviews. Regarding how it went in skibaires, we did our best so that in less than four days before your trip you can resolve, despite your effort and ours, that you understand the actions. You accomplished what would have taken a week in the snow. !! Successes in the snow... and remember not to apply the cute tennis movs!!

Adrian Genesir: Excellent. I did 4 classes in Skibaires and I continued it with a class in the mountains. It helped me take advantage of my first day a lot because in 2 hours of class upstairs I was already climbing the mountain and skiing. They also treat you well!

Alejandro Omar Fernández Anta: Friends of SkiBaires, thank you very much for joining me in my first steps in the exciting world of skiing. What they taught me was very useful and what I learned allowed me to really enjoy the days I spent skiing at the Batea Mahuida ski center in Villa Pehuenia. I send you a hug.

Saludable Compania: Super recommended to take classes before going skiing for the first time or to train, so you get to the snow and are ready to enjoy! Anibal and all the teachers are great, very good predisposition, very clear explaining the technique and the best vibes! I took classes with my kids and everything we learned was incredibly helpful!

Carolina Sofia Gomez: 100% recommendable !!! I took 4 classes and it served me well to get off the green track directly and until the last day I was able to go down the blue track to the base of Cerro Castor! It is an advantage for those of us who have never skied to go more prepared 😁😁😁 the boys of 10!!!

Pablo Ferrero: Excellent experience. In just 6 classes, I was able to enjoy skiing from day one. I totally recommend it. Thank you very much!

Karen Katia Klein: Thank you very much for giving me the necessary tools to be able to enjoy my first ski trip from day 1! With the technique I learned, I lost my fear of the mountain and managed to enjoy it a lot! Thank you very much!

Diego Guerri: Highly recommended. I went to improve my technique and it helped me a lot. I think that a person who has never skied, going 4 classes, wins a sky season. Thank you

Catedral Alta Patagonia Sa: what do users think?

santiago tallarico: Every year they get worse instead of better, if they don't open because of the wind don't talk because they don't dynamite and if not because they don't pay their employees and picket you on the road like today, they bill 200, 300 green Lucas per day and that's how they treat their employees and those of us who pay for the passes, the municipality would have to take the concession out of these inoperatives once and for all. They shit on literal people

andres lopez: I have been trying to buy the passes online for 15 days and it is impossible I call the company and no one answers in the customer service interns. It looks like a shell company, what it's like to have a media monopoly they do what they want

VM: Open the tracks the long weekend of June. It is all rented from July to September.

Club Med: what do users think?

Lucas Florio: Very good everything. The rooms, which are on the ground floor, because sometimes there are birds or monkeys upstairs and they make noise on the ceiling that you can feel. The rest impeccable. Oh, hardly anyone speaks Spanish. If they go with children, that has an impact on the kids club, because it can be difficult for them to understand the slogans and not have such a good time. Very good the food, the place, the beach, everything.

Pab Ace: Terrible attention from Club Med Buenos Aires!! There was a hurricane that destroyed the Dominican Republic and its facilities and everything was fine for Club Med Buenos Aires, as if nothing had happened!!!...0 customer service!!. A real shame! They should rethink a little the relationship with their customers. Not only do you have to receive the client's money, you also have to receive it and listen to it, before it's too late...

Isabel Gattiker: That place is incredible!! The views are fantastic, the service is unbeatable, the quality of the guys who entertain is unique, the tennis teacher is a professional. The truth is that I recommend it to everyone, they are going to have a fantastic vacation like I did

Jonathan Kania: The lousy telephone service they have, and the little desire to cordially attend to whoever makes a query is incredible. Club Med is a great resort, but the attention from the Buenos Aires offices makes you want to hire something. The precariousness of the tourism sector can be seen here.

Pablo Kruls - Trade Marketing - KRU: incredible vacations in Cancun. I had already gone to one of the Club Med in Brazil and I still choose it! The energy and attention of the GOs and all the resort staff is unique.

Delfina Macri: The best vacations in Club Med!!!! Incredible attention, the place and the good vibes of all the staff. I would definitely choose it again!

ricardo berjman: The club med punta cana is excellent. The staff, the activities all 10 points. The attitude of the med office in Buenos Aires leaves much to be desired

Agustina Cúneo Libarona: Terrible service. You have to be calling and sending emails repeatedly to get a budget. They don't give you a ball. Little customer service, I have been trying to book a trip for 6 people for 2 months and it is impossible with the bad and slow customer service they have.

guido labate: very good attention !!!

Virginia Villani: Very good experience! Lots of activities and very cool local people!

Patt Matt: Excellent advisors for ski centers.

Fernando Larreategui: I thought it was a very good place where they serve very well and it is the place in Buenos Aires that knows the most about snow skiing. They know more than 100 ski centers in Argentina, Chile, USA, Canada and Europe Excellent place, has known customers They have been working in Ski since 1982. They are representatives of many Ski centers With Portillo, Chile they have a close relationship, also with Valle Nevado, Las Leñas.

Federico C: ok

Sofia Silva: Reception very good service and predisposition. bad cleaning Close to everything because it is two blocks from the obelisk. But the place seems abandoned, maintenance is lacking. The photos are old.

Rodri Avellaneda: Very bad experience, we hired a lodging for 4 people, the space is not prepared for that amount, the photos are not real regarding the service offered, the first night one of the beds did not have a set of sheets and they replaced it the next day , the air conditioning, fan and oven were broken, the mattresses had to be changed since they were very old and sagged

Iván M: Excellent attention from the administration. The rooms are comfortable. There is a microwave, coffee maker and crockery to prepare light meals. Excellent location. In a central location with many mobility possibilities. Subway and bus lines to combine. It is close to places of interest such as the Obelisk, Diagonal Norte, Florida Pedestrian, tourist attention center, Casa Rosada, Cathedral, etc. There are also nearby options to stock up such as Coto and Carrefour. Super recommended.
Response: Thank you very much for your review Ivan. We look forward to seeing you on your next visit to Buenos Aires!

Mirta Mabel Vivas: Excellent location, comfortable in its furnishings, bright apartments. and affordable prices
Response: Thank you for your review Mirta, we look forward to seeing you next time!

Patricia AV: It's a shame the very old facilities are rusty, the handles and so on, the internet is not good, they don't do a good cleaning, the hot water in the shower doesn't work well, in short I didn't like it at all

Roxana Nanjari: Very good location. Everything as described in the publication. Very kind.

Nelida Del Carmen Pasmiño: excellent place, hygienic, good location and cordial attention of its staff.
Response: Good afternoon Nelida, we hope to welcome you again!

Martin Guerrera: Super cute and practical rooms. excellent location. all subway lines to combine. and the attention of the excellent administration. super recommended.

Stella Maris Lorente: We have been in RC for more than 25 years, but we cannot enjoy it very much since they do not have Pet Friendly and we have no one to leave our dog with. At this time when all places allow it, it's a shame. S.M. is very nice. of the Andes, and we went more to Punta del Este, because of its proximity, very beautiful too! Maintenance is usually lacking.

Miguel Mendez: I see good and very bad comments. My personal experience after more than 15 years as a member......I never had problems for the weeks, they always treated me well and complied in a timely manner. It is true that the infrastructure has been outdated and requires major renovations, but I assume that the expenses would go to exorbitant values. In my case the balance with RC is positive.
Response: Thank you very much Miguel for your comment and your loyalty! We are always waiting for you in Rincón!

Marcelo Huber: total disaster the attention to the member ... We asked for a reservation on 01 26, 2021 for the first days of September and they were thinking about us all year and then suggesting that if we were interested they would potentially write us down on another date, a situation that we never accepted. As we did not have a response to our required week, we asked (a month before) that they not consider the week they proposed. Not only do they not answer any phone, but they offer the place to the public, since they do not give us the space that corresponds to the members. Terrible service,
Response: Good morning Marcelo, first of all we regret the experience. We ask you if you can send us an e-mail including a phone number where we can contact you (and a Partner number) since we cannot find a Partner with your name in our records. Please, write to us at info@rinconclub.com.ar putting in the Subject "I RECALL VIA GOOGLE" so that we can quickly identify the email. Thank you.

Julio Balbi: I became a member and everything was divine… Until you ask for accommodation, they never have m, I asked 5 months in advance in Cologne and when we arrived they did not have the reservation, the truth is disastrous, nobody answers you, nobody knows anything... they are shameless
Response: Dear Julio, we are sorry for the difficulty you may have had in communicating with us. At your request, your membership was terminated in July 2021. In any case, we will contact you by phone to assist you with whatever you need. Kind regards, RC.

Gaston Ibañez: A disaster !!!. A lack of respect !!! They do not answer the partners by any of the means they offer.... Looking at the reviews I see that it is a constant ... Mr. Luis Balmaceda. Whoever told me that he was going to solve all my doubts and concerns never responded... to countless messages through different means... I hope that if any of the company's top managers reads this message, they act as they should and fire the people who make a place located in the best area of a place as beautiful as San Martin de los Andes look soooo bad. Thank you very much. Gaston.

Noelia Tranck: TERRIBLE SERVICE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! KO ANSWERS. I AM A MEMBER AND I HAVE BEEN LOSING YEARS OF USE BECAUSE NOBODY ANSWERS!!!!!!!!! AFTER A YEAR THEY DECIRED TO ANSWER THE PHONE ONE DAY, BUT AS IT WAS TO BE EXPECTED THE GIRL DID NOT KNOW ANYTHING. HE TOLD ME TO CALL A CALLED LUIS BALMACEDA. I NEVER ANSWERED. SOME WITHOUT SHAME DO NOT BUY THE SERVICE, IT IS FOURTH

mario perelis: Excellent place, very well located, special to share with family or friends

Javi Carp: Does anyone know how to contact these people? A year ago I won a voucher for a trip to the falls and I still can't collect it, I sent an email or phone call and I haven't received an answer.

Martin Rapetti: I think it is the best option for the family in SMA, for the services, the attention, the warmth of all, the entertainment proposals and the location.

Daniel Sanmillan: It is a place that I go to whenever I can, I have a good time, it has shows, a good pool, a good park, it is close to the center and they treat me very well.

Palacio Duhau - Park Hyatt Buenos Aires: what do users think?

chelsea werner: My favorite part of this hotel was Santiago the bartender at the cigar bar. He was fantastic. Not only did he make the best cocktails but he also was very fun to talk to and had great recommendations. We visited him every night we were there!!Rooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5 …More
Response: Dear Chelsea, Greetings from Palacio Duhau - Park Hyatt Buenos Aires! We were delighted to receive your positive comments regarding your recent visit, particularly those which commended the professionalism and dedication displayed by Santiago, this is truly rewarding and gratifying We look forward to seeing you again soon, Best regards, Mercedes Solanas Pacheco - Guest Experience Manager

Claudia Rogel: Stayed there for 4 nights, definitely beautiful building but that is that! Service was NoT worth the money you spend for a night! And definitely not Par to other park hyatts around the world! Room service : the Angus cut is really good and the mashed potatoes are to die for! Points: -asked for decaf coffee, still got normal coffee! - my flight arrived so early in Buenos Aires that I arrived early! I get it, check in is at certain point. They told me they would contact me when the room was ready! Check in was at 3pm! I had to stood in front of them for them to give me finally a room at 345! Not acceptable! - good thing: the whatsapp chat to request things is really good but don’t order good through them or it will take way longer than the 45 mins they state! Definitely coming back to BA, for sure, not staying there again!

Robert G: A very nice hotel in a perfect location for exploring the city. Safe to walk at any hour near here. Long drive (45-60 minutes) from the international airport. The property is split into two building, the original palace and then a new-ish building behind it, connected via tunnel or across the lawn. I stayed in the “new” building, rooms are less expensive it seems in that building. Each evening I spent time in the palace side in the cigar-friendly bar. What a unique and cool spot that was. This Park Hyatt was not quite at the level of the some PHs we stayed at, such as Istanbul, Milan and Paris. Just not as refined, and there were services lapses that keep this from being a true 5 star hotel. But nonetheless, staff was super friendly, and the bartenders in the evening cocktail lounge made great drinks (Santiago!). What was the biggest letdown, and it’s a big one? The breakfast buffet. This wasn’t even Hyatt Regency standards, barely a notch above a Holiday Inn. How this pitiful and unappealing breakfast meets what should be brand standards for a Park Hyatt is beyond me. So, they lose a star for that.

Sebastian Becker: We spent several days at the Palacio Duhau and cannot recommend it enough. The photos don’t do this place justice, it’s a beautiful historic palace with a wonderful garden. There are three people who have made our stay extra special. Alan Altuzarra has made each breakfast a feast with his attentiveness, care and friendliness. Camilo gave us outstanding service and went above and beyond for us by helping us plan our trip even beyond Buenos Aires. José Hernández for making the impossible possible. He shared fantastic recommendations beforehand and helped us reserve the best spots during our stay and always welcomed us with a smile. We rarely return to the same place but we will certainly come back here.

Paul Dhillon: I stayed at the Park Hyatt - BA last week for a few days and enjoyed it so much that I am staying for the second time in less than a week after going to Iguazu Falls. Great property with lots of attention to small details as well as attention to Customer Service touch points. The staff, from front porch, bell desk, lobby check-in, Concierge, food services, housekeeping (ayes, I interacted with them all, lol) are congenial and understated in their professionalism and delivery. Located in a well established residential neighbourhood within walking distance to many of the landmarks this vibrant city is famous for. If you are looking for an experience a cut above the rest, this is a great place to stay.
Response: Dear Paul, Greetings again from Palacio Duhau - Park Hyatt Buenos Aires! Thank you for your kind review. We are very happy to know that you enjoyed your stay at the Hotel. We look foward to welcome you back soon! Warmest Regards, Mercedes Solanas Pacheco Guest Experience Manager

Oscar: Luxury in hotel form. The rooms are amazing, and if you need any supplies, just ask anyone on the hotel staff and they'll get it for you within 10 mins. A true paragon of hospitality.Rooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5 …More
Response: Dear Oscar, Greetings again from Palacio Duhau - Park Hyatt Buenos Aires! Thank you for your kind review. We are very happy to know that you enjoyed your stay at the Hotel. We look foward to welcome you back soon! Warmest Regards, Mercedes Solanas Pacheco Guest Experience Manager

Alejandro Sarco: We've been here for afternoon tea. The place is beautiful, with two great terraces, gardens and a massive and probably very old tree 🌲. Staff were very attentive, but the tea services wasn't that great. Each four of us ordered a different blend of tea, and they came with the four teapots and served each of our cups with the same strainer, and then took the strainer away. So we couldn't serve any more tea ourselves, and they never came back to offer more. Later they offered to refill the teapots, but it looked like they just added hot water to them, because the colour was almost translucent and the flavour was gone. The sandwiches were good, but the scones were minimal (and they served three for every two people), and the sweet pieces, I didn't like the combination of tastes too much, but that's a matter of taste.

Robert Livingston: Spotless. Great location, comfortable rooms, good service. Excellent base to visit Buenos AiresRooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5 …More

Gabo: This is the best hotel in Argentina … and for me, the best in Latin America. The property is iconic, the food & bev spaces are beautiful, the location is ideal, and both towers offer great rooms. But what most sets the Duhau apart is its amazing staff. The bellmen, concierge, front desk, spa staff, room service, housekeeping … they are all — without exception — extremely attentive, professional, and warm. When I travel, I like trying new hotels for the fresh experience, but in Buenos Aires, I won’t be staying elsewhere.
Response: Dear Mr. Gabo, Greetings from Palacio Duhau - Park Hyatt Buenos Aires! We appreciate your valuable time in giving us an excellent review and we are glad to know that you enjoyed it. Thank you very much for your warm a kind message. We look forward to seeing you again soon, Best regards, Mercedes Solanas Pacheco - Guest Experience Manager

Yousef Meh.: Beautiful hotel, with very nice rooms.I enjoyed that they had 2 different breakfast restaurants which gave you some change, and both were very good.
Response: Dear Mr. Meh, Greetings again from Palacio Duhau - Park Hyatt Buenos Aires! Thank you for your kind review. We are very happy to know that you enjoyed your stay at the Hotel. We look foward to welcome you back soon! Warmest Regards, Mercedes Solanas Pacheco Guest Experience Manager

Fabricio Soler: At first it seemed to me that the packages were good in terms of prices and services until I realized that looking for them on my own, I got everything much cheaper using the same hotels and services they offer. On the other hand I did not like to be offered a package where I was freezing the price on a certain date and when I am going to specify, within the agreed dates, the value rose considerably, so I do not generate any confidence and lack of Word from the company.

Clementina RP: Bad experience. It takes more than a week to notify us that there was no room in the selected hotel. Traveling on our own we get faster and cheaper

Circus Hostel & Hotel: what do users think?

Carlos Ordonez: It is a great value for money option. Location is great and service is pretty good. I would improve mattresses and bathrooms, but they are not awful, just have room to improve. The bunk bed is very tall and has no rail so it is not safe for small children. The place is missing a great opportunity by not having an atmosphere, setting up group activities and having people come together as other hostels do.

Kieran Bedford: The hostel is situated in a great location. The check in was really smooth. Breakfast included is a bonus! The rooms were very clean and well looked after. Thanks for the stay :)

Jess Gray: Clean rooms, friendly staff, a fun lounge area that felt welcoming for everyone to enjoy. Good coffee for breakfast and a safe area at night. I wish I had stayed longer.Rooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5 …More

George Gassner: SCAM! My recommendation: run! As we did. The staff was very friendly to tell us that they only accept USD and an exchange rate at least 2x above the official rate if you wanted to pay in pesos argentinos. We’ve been traveling for 1 month in Argentina and this seems to be common practice in some hostels in Buenos Aires…the hostel down the street accepted ARS perfectly fine as did every other place we stayed at in Argentina.
Response: George, you are leaving the exact same review to many hostels/hotels in San Telmo. Maybe you're the one who doesn't understand how local economy works. Also, if you're leaving these awful reviews in order to explain to other travellers what happened and not just out of anger, you might at least be honest. You made a last minute reservation (you booked last night for today) that expressly said you were going to be charged on your card BEFORE your arrival at the hotel. We tried to charge your card for the exact amount that your reservation said, which means USD with no VAT as you are not a resident, but your card was declined due to insufficient funds. We could have canceled your reservation but we waited anyway for your arrival today, when we kindly explained you our policies for payment at the check-in. We were NOT going to charge you twice as much if paying in cash in peso, it was you who wanted to pay HALF at the informal rate by exchanging money outside the premises . I would suggest you read carefully what you're booking and start making reservations with funds on your card, so you wouldn't be affecting the hotel who put on hold other reservations while waiting for your arrival. You will be charged in the same exact way anywhere else in Buenos Aires, so please if you do not understand how the local economy works at least EDUCATE YOURSELF BEFORE TRAVELLING. Cheers

Raphael: !!! WARNING !! If you are a foreigner and plan to pay in cash they will charge you at the blue dollar rate and not the official one inflating the bill to almost it's double. This practice is ILLEGAL and will try to explain you that it's a law applying strictly to buenos aires which is a LIE. It is a pity as the hostel was good and well located.
Response: !!! THANKY YOU!! For teaching us about our local economics after spending, what, two days in the country? First of all, a hotel is a private premises where we apply the policies we decide; the guest is free to accept or cancel with no charge. You were obviously informed about how our prices are in dollars, as most of the hotels in Buenos Aires, and you decide to stay anyway to then leave this awful review instead of talking to us in person as any adult would do. Also, the person who was trying to do something "illegal" it's you, because you sold your currency in the informal market to try and pay half of the price in the hotel. Wrong try, we are not fools. But we understand that Sunday was a rough day for you, next time will be better :) still, no need to be so mean ! cheers !

Luan Pereira: This place is a scam for tourist. If you pay online you will pay the official exchange$1 for about 150 ars pesos. and they know so if you try to go there and pay in cash because they know we can exchange money $1 for 300 ars pesos they will charge you double. As a traveler and wouldn’t recommend a place like this.
Response: Thank you for explaining it perfectly yourself: i's not the hotel willing to charge you double, it's YOU going to exchange money at the informal rate to pay half. To exchange money legally, you should have gone to a bank to exchange at the official rate, and you just admitted you didn't. So you're not only a very rude person for the way you treated our recepcionist (who simply tried to kindly explain you our policies), you are being ridiculous and inconsistent while wanting to teach us how local economy works to try and take advantage of it.

Ken Dev: WARNING: DECEPTIVE PRICING, this place will attempt to charge you a DIFFERENT price at CHECK IN TIME basically forcing YOU to either cancel the booking and find alternative accommodation at the last minute (imagine arriving late at night) or pay their dishonest new price. To be clear, I have travelled All OVER Argentina for 2 months and this is the ONLY place that has tried to charge me a different price from the reservation (except minor differences in the exchange rate and/or VAT/taxes if applicable). There is NO excuse to charge a price different from the reservation I don't care what they claim, zero contact with you beforehand to warn or inform you of any changes in pricing, the REAL price is indicated clearly upon making a reservation, with a list of applicable taxes. It's simple, if they listed the REAL (double) price they would lose a lot of business, no one would pay DOUBLE the price quoted for a hostel DORM (total rip off) when at the this price you can get a PRIVATE room or better at another accommodation. IMPORTANT NOTE: this dishonest establishment even had the AUDACITY to charge my credit card WITHOUT my permission when i clearly stated i would pay in CASH with the LEGAL currency in Argentina at the quoted price of the reservation. After I made a complaint to customer support to try to resolve the issue and get them to honor the pricing, they proceeded to try to KICK me out of the hostel saying that I wasn't welcome there whilst yet again trying to get ME to cancel the booking. It's the first time this has happened in all my years of travelling, great conflict resolution skills guys, you don't deserve to work in tourism. After refusing my cash payment at the reservation price, they tried to charge my credit card (i declined the UNAUTHORISED payment) to force the booking to get cancelled due to 'non payment' so they wouldn't be PENALIZED for not honouring their booking yet even more dishonest behaviour on their part. My recommendation is if this happens to you just go somewhere else, make a complaint to the booking site, DO NOT cancel the reservation, let them handle it, you WON'T be charged because the property knows what they're doing is ILLEGAL, in the end I was NOT CHARGED for my reservation and I ended up booking a private suite somewhere else which DID HONOR their booking reservation pricing, basically I paid the same price they wanted to charge me for a shared dorm, you can do the maths. Save your TIME AND MONEY and book elsewhere if you can. EDIT: In response to the property's comments, ANYWHERE in the world they also HONOR THE PRICE of said reservation (refundable or not doesn't matter I was already checking in at the property). At check in time ALL places allow payment in cash in the LEGAL currency which is ARS not USD (we are not in the USA not everyone has dollars with them). Card pricing and cancellation policies are IRREVELANT in this case, so stop deflecting the topic, and this is not a troll or repeated review either.
Response: How many times are you going to leave the same review ? We already answered to all the others you left. Regards

Len Dr: This place will try to charge you more than the booking price of the reservation, somehow around 13,000 pesos in my booking confirmation becomes 24,000 pesos at check in time, do not stay here. Responding to Maria, no sorry there was no help offered or kind suggestions the receptionist was plain rude and I don't even know who you are, I never talked to you so stop lying. All your response lacks any kind of credibility, what so called hidden costs or taxes do you refer to? Can they increase the reservation price by almost 90%, I don't think such a tax exists anywhere in the world, it sounds like something a scammer would say. Please tell the truth, you tried to charge me with a black market exchange rate, this is illegal, and no legitimate business that pays taxes would use this exchange rate for charges or expenses. Surely any income reported for such bookings would be using the legal official exchange rate for reservations whilst you try to charge your guests the blue rate and pocket the difference under the table. Prices can be easily updated or corrected on relevant booking websites and also increased to include any 'hidden taxes'. Be honest you just want to make more money off unsuspecting tourists with foreign currency. I'm sure there are plenty of other complaints like this so i don't need to bother justifying myself. Your future guests are smart enough to make their own judgement based on these facts.
Response: Hi! Although you used a brand new profile with no real name and no photo, I'm pretty sure I've immediately recognized you. I personally witnessed the conversation you had with the receptionist, who was just explaining to you the total amount of your reservation (as sometimes, according to the platform used to make a reservation, there could be hidden costs or taxes that do not depend on us) while you were the one who started being very rude. We tried to explain you our reasons but the only answer we had was very aggressive behaviour, up to the point where we decided that you would not be welcome to stay at our hotel. Even so, we suggested you other nearby hoteles where you could say, and we made it in the most polite way possible. Good luck for your travels Maria

Jordan Wight: Good location. They don’t offer towels, even for an extra fee. Super weird.
Response: Hi Jordan, thank yuo for you review! In regards to what you're mentioning about towels, I must point out that these are provided in all the private rooms (and get replaced with cleaned ones every second day). On the other hand, towels are not provided in shared rooms, and this is clearly stated also in the booking confirmation. Please always read carefully the services you're choosing. Best regards !

David Plots: We’ve stayed in a few hosted in Buenos Aires and this has been by far and away the best one. Great prices, amenities are plentiful, staff are accommodating and nice. Rooms are clean, Wi-Fi is great as well. 10/10 recommend if you’re staying in Buenos Aires. San Telmo is also beautiful!

Stefan van Duffelen: location is perfect. we arrived in the middle of the night due to late arrival from domestic flight, but the checkin went smooth. Sauna was really nice and breakfast is ok to start the day. Best is to get cash first and then pay your stay in cash.

Tara Collins: The entire stay was wonderful from beginning to end. The staff at the front desk were very polite and helpful. The room was super clean and had everything we needed. The buffet breakfast has a wide variety. (Eggs - scrambled & hard boiled, fruit, breads, pastries, yogurt) The restaurant also has some options to purchase for the afternoon and serve excellent coffee and empanadas. The area around the hotel was safe and within walking distance from the Recoletta Cemetery & the Art Museum (Bellas Artes). Lucas at the front desk and Micaela in the restaurant were especially helpful and very kind. This is the perfect place to stay, where they treat you like family.

Johnny Kawartha: A beautiful hotel with very helpful staff. Great location on a quiet (for Buenos Aires) street. The front desk staff all speak English, and the included breakfast is very good. Lovely rooftop pool. Very clean. Will come back for sure!

M S: Lovely hotel with helpful staff who also spoke English.

Gabriel Boso: Won't recommend, can't even keep and respect a schedule. We reserve our spots for spa and massage a week ago, despite arriving in time another couple was allowed to sweep in our spots.Sorry it's the only thing management could provide.

Cheryl Brown: The staff at this hotel were so helpful before and during our stay. English is spoken so you don’t have to worry about a language barrier. We enjoyed the happy hour each night with Victor. He was very nice, friendly and honored our special requests for making a gin and tonic. The breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of foods including gluten free when our friend requested it. Alejandra works at the front deck and is very helpful with our questions and requests. I also liked that there is a coffee shop just a few steps from the hotel. The walk to the cemetery took about 15 minutes. With all the great food available, walking was a good thing to do.

Heloisa Tiberio: The hotel is very well located, near to bars, restaurants, and cafes. It got comfortable bedroom. It’s very clean and well maintained. The shower area is a bit tight, and the wc is basically hidden behind the door when it’s opened. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended. The coffee is tasty!

Gabby Ng: Clean hotel room with great amenities (hot water boiler, microwave, sink, and mini fridge all in our room). Great breakfast that was included with an amazing selection of pastries, fruit, juice, coffee, bread, and some hot food. Overall location fantastic. Good fit for the price but not cheap.

Christina Grady: We are so happy to have discovered this gem, we're only sorry not to have found it earlier in our 9 week stay in Argentina. We would absolutely return. Clean spacious rooms in a beautiful neighborhood, restful nights sleep, and a satisfying breakfast selection. Helpful and pleasant staff.

David Haddrell: Great large spacious rooms and nice balconies. Breakfast was very good with a great selection of pastries. Highlight though were the staff who were very helpful and friendly and spoke good English. Would recommend.

OTE - Specialized Tourism Organization: what do users think?

Mario Lopez Oliva: For where it is located it should be much better. Everything is more or less. Only the attention is very good.

florencia crosta blanco: Efficient and fast when organizing the package. The room was half the size of its intended size, under the elevator motor and ironically having to climb stairs to access it. While it's probably the hotel's fault, it's their duty to know what they're selling.

Soho Point San Telmo Suites: what do users think?

Brandon Thomas: Our booking room didn't exist. No shuttle pick up as reserved, no wifi, power out five times, no AC at night. Feces, dirty everywhere. No ventilation, broken. Stachybotrys chartarum, a toxic mold, all over ceiling, illegal. UnbelievableRooms: 1/5 | Service: 1/5 | Location: 4/5 …More

Ian Richards: A convenient place to stay but whether it is really luxury depends on your definition of luxury. Our ground floor junior suite was of adequate size and was very comfortable, including a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was not great as the shower recess seemed to leak all over the floor. The wifi was good. The staff were generally friendly and helpful but some were not really able to speak or understand English.

Andrei Firulev: If to not pay attention on some small details it's the very nice hotel to stay. Excellent and multilingual personnel - even you can communicate in Russian (Vladimir) - is ready to help and resolve any problems. The hotel is located in a historical building. Very good combination of prices and quality. Recommended!

Brian Purcell: I really liked this strange gem of a hotel. It's in a building built in 1868 but heavily transformed. My room had 20' ceilings and a loft. I would have loved to have lived here in my 20s. Superbly located with amazing restaurants, bars and in the middle of the biggest artesian fair I've ever seen on Sunday. Courteous staff and reasonable prices.

BenK: This hotel presents itself as luxury and trendy so I shall judge it as such. The rooms are nice (plus clean) and the layout is good with a comfortable bed and good air conditioning. As such it's a perfectly pleasant place to stay in a fantastic location. However, those little details are really missing. We had towels with big holes in them and a shower that sprayed water in every direction (including up). Every interaction with the staff was awkward; they seemed to either have had no training or simply not be interested. A decent little hotel that could be great with some extra customer care and maintenance.

William Smart: Location was perfect right in the heart of San Telmo. Round the corner from the Market which is brilliant. Unfortunately our ground floor room had no natural light which was not ideal (and quite loud). Also breakfast on our first morning was very poor with no food available - this was around 9.30am with an hour remaining. Second morning not quite so bad but had enough by that point!

Erick Vilela: The hotel is charming and placed in a great area of Buenos Aires. However, it is not safe for children. All rooms are duplex with internal stairs and a balcony with separated vertical bars. There are stairs everywhere. The breakfast was not ok. The space was tiny and difficult to be comfy.

Alan Willoughby: We stopped here for three nights after completing a cruise. We had thought it would be self catering, but it isn't. Breakfast is served in a small room at the front of the hotel. Was very different than a European would be used to. The hotel itself is well placed to visit some of the sights of Buenos Aires and there are plenty of bars and cafe around. The room was very pleasant and different to the usual hotel room. We'd be happy to stay here again.

Shabana C: I loved this boutique gem in a cutesy area of Buenos Aires! The design of the rooms were amazing and incredibly unique to others, with a cosy and loft apartment feel. I really enjoyed my stay and found the staff incredibly helpful and friendly. It's been a few years since my stay but I hope to be able to go back soon!

Daniel Webster: architecturally very interesting combining old world charn with new world style. the rooms are large with such high ceilings they have the bedroom on a split level. unfortunately the strong design hasn't been kept in great shape and the place seems a little run down. but for the price it's good.

Let Sun Hotel Boutique: what do users think?

Alicea Castellanos: Lovely boutique hotel. In the center of the action, steps away from yummy restaurants, trendy bars, some shopping, beauty parlors, etc. Safe area, police monitor this area so it's pretty safe even at night. The rooms are large, clean and inviting. The water pressure in the shower is excellent. There is a small dry sauna on the top floor, as well as a small gym, jacuzzi and massage room. The staff go out of their way to help you and everyone is really nice. I will definitely return.

Adrián Lucardi: My flight landed 18 hours late, so I couldn't check in the first night. They had every right to charge it anyway, but they told me to contact Booking so they could waive the first night. Good location and great service. Breakfast is also pretty good (loved the pastries + fresh orange or grapefruit juice). Only cons: the bathtub was pretty narrow, and the WiFi was slow and subject to regular interruptions.

Joanne Barry: Great value, friendly helpful staff, very good location.. right in the buzzing area of palermo, which is an easy cheap metro tube ride away from the centre of BA. Clean hotel, lovely room and reasonably priced!

Vamshi: Surprisingly good.. big and clean rooms. Decent breakfast.. welcoming front desk.. perfect for the Palermo stay.

Bruno Mazetti: Very clean and comfortable room. Standard breakfast for Argentina, which means above average.

Alex Radoi: Amazing place. Super comfortable and spacious and good value for money

Nikola Icaro: We went to the hotel on the occasion of a concert, we did not know the area and Juan and Martín were very attentive and at all times they were willing to help us and recommend places of interest, streets, etc. The place is very nice, clean, the elevator is modern, the breakfast is very varied and the location is excellent. I recommend the stay :)

Ralf Link: Nice, clean and tastefully furnished rooms with detail weaknesses. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Comfortable beds although only double beds available. Location great. In the immediate vicinity many nice clubs, bars, restaurants. Nothing for visitors who are looking for peace, because the neighboring building is a club.

lorena paradzik: The location is great!!! We went for one night, the room is spacious, clean! The perfect bed and the best of the best is the breakfast, super rich, varied, complete! Super recommended. Juan's attention is very warm.

Taty Vidal: The people at the hotel are very friendly, the place is clean and comfortable. Good rooms according to the price. Excellent location. Breakfast is unhealthy products (ultra-processed) I would have liked them to give eggs, but they are not an option. I also had internet connection failures
