Rick Young: Went here on a recommendation from someone on Facebook. It’s totally worth a visit. Great steaks ( oho de biffe) ribeye steak. Service is more of a show and they surprise you with many extras for free. Prices are very reasonable for what you get.

Jat Tabamo: We were able to walk-in and get a table for five during happy hour, from 6:30-8pm, where they give you a 40% discount on the total bill, which is always nice. The atmosphere was good, service was great and the beef was exceptional.

Esta muy bien preparada para recibir extranjeros, aunque no todos los mozos hablan inglés, el servicio siempre atento, y no se les pasó nada aún siendo 13 personas.El helado de postre estuvo un poco flojo, faltaba frio, pero estaba ok.

En todo momento sonreían de manera genuina y nos hacían recomendaciones que vale decir fueron los mejores platos. Probamos varias entradas y compartimos un plato principal (gue lo único flojito). Lo demás todo de primera. El ambiente es muy agradable y recomiendo ir en pareja o mesas chicas. Volvería a probar el ragu de cordero (ese día no tenía hambre).

David Andrews: One of the best restaurants not just in Buenos Aires, or Argentina, or the Americas, but the world. The service was impeccable from start to finish, the food was delicious but not too fussy or avante garde, and the wine pairing was perfection. It was quite simply one of the best dining experiences of my life. Highly, highly recommend.

Michelle Tzou: A solid 4.5 from me."Like a symphony of flavors in my mouth" - the most accurate description that was said during my dining experience at Aramburu. Every course surprised me with its innovation and everything was delicious. Reservations were not difficult to get, we booked about 3 days in advance. However, the dining room was full so I do not recommend reserving last minute.There are two seatings 19:00 and 21:30. The main meal will take about 2 hours then you are moved upstairs for desserts. In total we spent 3 hours in the restaurant.I loved everything we ate and I appreciate the last minute dietary accommodations they made for us. My favorites were the fried bread stuffed with mushrooms, the quinoa "sunflowers", the tartare on a leaf, the Patagonian langoustine on a sizzling rock, the oyster with a sheet of seaweed ice, and the "fake avocado" dessert. There was not one mediocre dish.However, I did find a shell in my centolla roll. Also, I thought the service was pretty good but not AMAZING like Michelin star places I've been to. The servers were attentive but I wish they described each dish a bit more. I will give them props though for being able to explain in English. As for ambiance, the building itself is quite old. It is modern but it is small and I dislike that they put us in the wine room for desserts. It was chilly in there and servers coming in to find wines disrupted our meal. Some of the other guests were at actual tables and not tucked away in the cooler.

Stunning presentation and the flavours were even better. A trip to BA would not be complete without a visit here. All the staff who served us were charming.

Matilde Grue: It was excellent. I went there by my self to enjoy the choices of smart cooks and sommeliers. I was all through the experience met by knowledged staff with clear passion for their job. Especially the liquid olive, the deer tartar with shiso and buckwheat, the indgnious argentinian crab with a pairing of natural produced syrah and not to forget the hibiscus ice cream alongside duck and watermelonradish. That was very smart i think. Thank you 🙏

Todo esto indudablemente es parte de toda la experiencia de ir a Aramburu y sin dudas la mejora.No obstante, tuvimos un incidente con las bebidas y quería compartirlo para alertar a futuros comensales.Mi marido y yo no queríamos hacer maridaje. El sommeliernos recomienda un vino fuera de la carta a $20,000. Nos pareció excesivo pero decidimos probarlo. El vino era muy alto en taninos. Por supuesto que cada persona tiene diferentes gustos en vino, y en restaurantes de esta categoría el vino es mas caro que en un negocio, pero al hacer una búsqueda online encontramos este mismo vino a $3,000. Esta fue una gran desilusión y aquí perdimos confianza en el sommelier.El sommelier fue muy respetuoso y cuando no nos quedamos conformes con su recomendación de vino, trajo otro diferente para mejorar la experiencia, y no hizo ningún tipo de problema para el cambio de botella. Apreciamos la buena predisposiciónpero no el exceso en el precio.Como segunda opción, tomamos un Pinot Noir que no nos impresionó, pero al menos el precio que llego con la cuenta estuvo acorde y nos sentimos aliviados.Fuera de este incidente, el staff fue muy cordial, Charly y David venían a ver si estábamos disfrutando si estaba todo bien, realmente pusieron esfuerzo en hacernos sentir bienvenidos.Quisiera también hacer mención del chef Mariano, que se acercó a la mesa a explicar uno de los platos, que además fue uno de nuestros preferidos: codorniz y cebolla. Este plato, junto con el tartar de venado y el pulpo fueron las estrellas de la noche. The lights, the decoration, the tables facing the see-through kitchen are all undoubtedly part of the experience and enhance it.However, we had an incident with the wines and would like to share the experience to alert future diners.My husband and I did not want to do the wine pairing. The sommelier recommends a wine that wasn’t in the wine list for $20,000. We thought the price was excessive but decided to try it. The wine was very high in tannins. Of course each person is entitled to their taste in wines, and restaurants of this category mark up the wines, but on doing an online search we found out this wine could be bought for $3,000. This was a terrible disappointment and we lost confidence in the sommelier.The sommelier was very respectful and brought the second bottle when we were not happy with the first bottle in an attempt to improve our experience, he made absolutely no problem to change the wine. We appreciate his goodwill but not the excessive mark up.As a second option, we had a Pinot noir that did not impress but at least it was fairly priced when the bill arrived and we were relieved!Other than the incident described above, the staff are very friendly, Charly and David kept coming to check that we were having a good time and they made a real effort to make us feel welcome.We would also like to mention the chef, Mariano, who approached the table to explain one of his dishes, which was one of our favourites: quail and onion. This dish, together with the venison tartar and the octopus were the stars of the evening. The opportunity to interact with the chef is always welcome and a practice we had not seen in Buenos Aires before.Overall, it is worth the experience, we recommend to get wines from the wine list to avoid misunderstandings!
