Los contras son que hay 9 personas en mí clase y por momentos se complica para que todos entiendan algún concepto. En realidad no es tanto contra porque está bueno para practicar conversación. Pidan hablar con Florencia para todo lo que son los eventos con extranjeros que están aprendiendo español. Es muy útil para seguir practicando y conocer gente.

Ninton José Ortiz padilla: Vamos tiene muchos tipos de curso por lo que es importante entender bien que es lo que quieres antes de elegir. Yo queria aprender rapido y en vez de elegir clases grupales preferi individuales. Me anote por 20 horas que me costaron menos de la mitad en comparacion con otras escuelas. Las primeras 20 me enfoque en conversacion y luego extendi otras 20 en donde vimos mayormente gramatica. Las clases estan muy bien planificadas y hay una persona que es la directora de la escuerla que hace todo el seguimiento. Son muy profesionales y los profesores excelentes

John Laing: I studied both group and private lessons at Academia for 2 months in June and July 2017. As an English teacher myself, I was concerned about studying another language, and how challenging it would be to become a student rather than a teacher for a while. I had nothing to worry about! I had 5 different teachers during my time at Academia and every one of them was professional, informative and understanding of my needs while having unique approaches to learning. They all had a solid understanding of the language and were able to help me move from a total beginner to a CEFR B1 level in those 8 weeks. Of course, you need to be motivated to learn, and Academia helped me reach my goal to start learning Spanish. I highly recommend including some private classes, as these classes helped me to gain confidence in a one-on-one environment.The textbooks are well designed, focusing on a solid understanding of the grammar of Spanish, and the culture of Argentina. It was great to learn about the country I was in while also learning the language. The teachers, also, are passionate about Latin American and Argentinian life, so I was very happy with the cultural aspects of the course.All in all, I am so pleased to have chosen Academia as my introduction to Spanish language learning. I have nothing but praise for the teachers and the admin staff (Silvana and Hanna are the friendliest and most helpful ladies you could ever hope to meet), and recommend Academia as an excellent school to improve your Spanish skills.

Film nights, great trips in the city lead by cultured teachers (Diana, you are THE La Boca expert) and dancing at the coolest milonga in the city were some of the many experiences I will never forget. As for the classes, the school has wonderful and experienced teachers who are there to help you if you want to learn. Homework is inevitable, and of course, speaking Spanish is a must. Sabrina Alonso: Outstanding school. I am a huge fan. I am a registered nurse and I have done both the intensive course there in Buenos Aires with medical Spanish and the online distance learning. All the teachers and staff have been extremely skilled, kind and fun. The group classes are usually quite small and the course work is well organized. They also offer many after class activities for students that allow for a more in depth introduction into Argentine life and culture. I will be attending the school again for 6 months and am confident my Spanish will develop so that I can better serve my patients when I return to the US.

Anna: Academia Buenos Aires is a great school if you are looking to find a way to learn Spanish or improve your language skills. I went to this school because I had already been studying Spanish for awhile, but I eventually want to be a translator and I wanted to improve my language skills.I ended up deciding to take a mixture of group and individual classes at the school and I stayed for about three months taking classes. The group classes are small enough to give students speaking practice. The classes are very hands-on and interactive. The individual classes helped me by focusing on my weak areas. By doing a mixture of the classes, I had several teachers and they were all very professional and knew their subject areas well. I also stayed in a home stay that was organized by the school and it was very comfortable and allowed me to practice Spanish everyday. From my first day there, the staff in the office and the teachers provided a very welcoming and encouraging atmosphere and they were all interested in helping me to achieve my goals.Also, the school prepares different activities throughout the week such as guided tours so that you can familiarize yourself with the different Buenos Aires' neighborhoods. There are also workshops that focus on pronunciation and the porteño dialect of Spanish as well as other workshops that cover different topics. There is also a movie night every week which shows classic Argentinean movies which really gives you an insight into Argentinean culture.I really feel that Academia Buenos Aires offers a high quality of education so that you get a complete immersion experience into Argentina. I highly recommend it!

Thanks to them I learnt way more than grammar and vocab: I've got to know more about the local culture and history, the milongas and el cine argentino, among others. They will teach you the castellano rioplatense thus you will find the common ground with Argentine people more easily. I found the people working there very helpful: they helped us to organize a weekend trip to a nearby village with a cooking workshop and also a roadtrip to the north. :) lifelong memories...Thank you Academia!

We took 40 hours of semi-private Spanish classes (only the two of us, 4 hours/day for 2 weeks) with Joan as our teacher. Joan was very professional, friendly and funny. We had a great time with him and we learnt a lot. The material provided was great, the price very competitive and the location was easily accessible by public transport. We couldn’t have asked for any better! We can only recommend you Verbum for your Spanish classes in Buenos Aires!

There are quite a few schools around in Buenos Aires, here's why I'm happy that I chose Verbum to enjoy 3 weeks of Spanish classes:- It's a small school so it's less like a learning factory and gave me a much more personal learning experience. The classes itself were fine, 4 hours every day with engaging teachers and students in my group that matched my (low) Spanish level.- Really flexible scheduling: I enrolled just a day before starting.- They explain differences between Spanish spoken in Argentina and Spain. They teach both.- Small groups helped me learn more. The biggest group I was in only had 4 people in total.- Of course it's a business, but this one has a sort of homely atmosphere: Teachers and staff are friendly and chatty, during breaks and also after classes. Marina (the boss) has no problem to give advice or help with things such as where to get football tickets, recommending restaurants or just chatting about Argentinean culture. The school just has a "happy" atmosphere and besides making it a fun place to be, most people (including me:)) learn much better in an environment they're comfortable in.- Last but not least: price. It's definitely cheaper than the more touristy schools. Also, when I was the only one in the group, I got 3hrs of private lessons per day for the price of 4 hours of group lessons. To me that seems like a really good deal at a school that really isn't that expensive to begin with.In all I had a great time there and can really recommend this school to anyone who is in Buenos Aires and would like to learn Spanish.

Anouke de Groot: The teachers are very nice in this school, you get a lot of attention, they are patient and helpful and the place has a nice atmosphere. I followed 10hours a week for some weeks, which was also possible here (next to 20 hours a week) so I had time for different activities

Evan Ware: I went on an exhausting search of 3 different schools before I found Verbum. Out of the different schools it had the best facilities, it has been opened the longest (10 years), and they care more about teaching you, than making money. I say this because I started my group spanish lessons there and I was the only person in the level I was signed up for. As a result I got private classes for the same price as a group class. I really like the material and the structure of classes. And I´ve had 3 different teachers there so far and they have all impressed me!
