Park Tower, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Buenos Aires: what do users think?

Scott R: My review is based on our incredible experience at the Park Tower! Other reviews suggest that it may be in need of an a update.. As a marriot titanium member I absolutely disagree. The service is incredible and the rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds, and well-appointed. Definite 5-star! I strongly advise starting with breakfast as the selection of fruits, eggs and pastries is second to none. If you are looking for a true 5-star experience is a lovely part of the city, this is the place for you!

Damien Frennet: This is a comfortable section of the Sheraton. This tower is attached to the BA Sheraton. The hotel is adequate and clean. The beds are very comfortable. The bathroom and furniture is very well maintained and in very good condition for stuff having 20+ years old. But it is not a 5 stars hotel when it comes to service. It is a good 4 stars with a lot of junior staff who have limited language skills. The front of the house, the operator, the engagement before arriving is very much sub par. If you book with Amex travel, we didn’t get to use the 100$ as there was limited opportunities. We didn’t get upgraded above the grand room we had booked. The breakfast is nice. We had series of unfortunate issues with the hotel. Gaston did his best to alleviate some. We thank him for that.

Itai Fish: Professional staff, amazing view & location, comfortable beds. Very clean, prompt service, and they have a bath tub separate from the shower. The best hotel I have stayed at to date. The restaurant in the hotel was also very good.Rooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5 …More

Palacio Duhau - Park Hyatt Buenos Aires: what do users think?

chelsea werner: My favorite part of this hotel was Santiago the bartender at the cigar bar. He was fantastic. Not only did he make the best cocktails but he also was very fun to talk to and had great recommendations. We visited him every night we were there!!Rooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5 …More

Robert G: A very nice hotel in a perfect location for exploring the city. Safe to walk at any hour near here. Long drive (45-60 minutes) from the international airport. The property is split into two building, the original palace and then a new-ish building behind it, connected via tunnel or across the lawn. I stayed in the “new” building, rooms are less expensive it seems in that building. Each evening I spent time in the palace side in the cigar-friendly bar. What a unique and cool spot that was. This Park Hyatt was not quite at the level of the some PHs we stayed at, such as Istanbul, Milan and Paris. Just not as refined, and there were services lapses that keep this from being a true 5 star hotel. But nonetheless, staff was super friendly, and the bartenders in the evening cocktail lounge made great drinks (Santiago!). What was the biggest letdown, and it’s a big one? The breakfast buffet. This wasn’t even Hyatt Regency standards, barely a notch above a Holiday Inn. How this pitiful and unappealing breakfast meets what should be brand standards for a Park Hyatt is beyond me. So, they lose a star for that.

Sebastian Becker: We spent several days at the Palacio Duhau and cannot recommend it enough. The photos don’t do this place justice, it’s a beautiful historic palace with a wonderful garden. There are three people who have made our stay extra special. Alan Altuzarra has made each breakfast a feast with his attentiveness, care and friendliness. Camilo gave us outstanding service and went above and beyond for us by helping us plan our trip even beyond Buenos Aires. José Hernández for making the impossible possible. He shared fantastic recommendations beforehand and helped us reserve the best spots during our stay and always welcomed us with a smile. We rarely return to the same place but we will certainly come back here.

Paul Dhillon: I stayed at the Park Hyatt - BA last week for a few days and enjoyed it so much that I am staying for the second time in less than a week after going to Iguazu Falls. Great property with lots of attention to small details as well as attention to Customer Service touch points. The staff, from front porch, bell desk, lobby check-in, Concierge, food services, housekeeping (ayes, I interacted with them all, lol) are congenial and understated in their professionalism and delivery. Located in a well established residential neighbourhood within walking distance to many of the landmarks this vibrant city is famous for. If you are looking for an experience a cut above the rest, this is a great place to stay.

Robert Livingston: Spotless. Great location, comfortable rooms, good service. Excellent base to visit Buenos AiresRooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5 …More

Gabo: This is the best hotel in Argentina … and for me, the best in Latin America. The property is iconic, the food & bev spaces are beautiful, the location is ideal, and both towers offer great rooms. But what most sets the Duhau apart is its amazing staff. The bellmen, concierge, front desk, spa staff, room service, housekeeping … they are all — without exception — extremely attentive, professional, and warm. When I travel, I like trying new hotels for the fresh experience, but in Buenos Aires, I won’t be staying elsewhere.

Yousef Meh.: Beautiful hotel, with very nice rooms.I enjoyed that they had 2 different breakfast restaurants which gave you some change, and both were very good.

natalia vojtovich: Located near Obelisk, Exe Hotel Colon is across Tango Porteno, close to Colon Theatre. Walking distance to restaurants at Lavalle street. Comfortable, a little bit outdated. Check in process could be faster. They serve tasteful breakfasts with variety of cooked food, fruits and pastries. Overall good value for money.

Howard Johnson Plaza by Wyndham Buenos Aires: what do users think?

Sarah E: Friendly service, huge room, nice breakfast buffet and clean everywhere. The location is great to reach walking lot of nice restaurants in San Telmo, center of city with shopping mall is only 1,2 Kilometers away. For the spontaneous appetize there is roomservice and McDonalds as direct neighbour. We slept well and had a great stay while discovering the city in 10 days. Of course there is some noise outside, when window is open, as hotel is in the middle of a huge city. But with close window it was really quiet. Would stay here again.

Samir Avdic: Nice location with very clean rooms, most the places that we wanted to visit. 10-20min walking distance, for longer trips we used Uber . But best part during our visit was the front desk staff, Zaria and Nestor was exceptionally nice and super professional. Zaire made sure that we have best possible experience during our visit in hotel and even giving us tips where to go and what to visit . Overall A++ Thank you .

Brendan Matt: The hotel was excellent. The staff were so kind and helpful, the breakfast every morning was lovely, and the location was perfect! I would stay here again. I appreciated the early check-in as well, the hotel staff were so nice to let us get to our room early after a long flight!

vita ariztegui: Great value and services. Very pleasant stay. With sauna dry and wet! Food & drinks: Restaurant was OVERPRICED: plain and simpleton. Ugly menu with cheap side salad. Of course it was deserted. Go lunch somewhere else!

May: Great location, amazing staff and wonderful rooms!

Stick Steves: Welcoming and friendly staff, they made my stay marvelous.
