Vamos Academy - Clases de Ingles + Spanish Classes & Diplomaturas: what do users think?

Chloë Sansome: I am currently studying Spanish by morning and teaching English by afternoon here at Vamos, and at either side of the classroom I am absolutely blown away by the academy’s quality of service. Without a doubt, the most impressive aspect of the Vamos experience is its staff. No matter what question you may have, whether as a student or teacher, the members of staff will go out of their way to help, and always with a smile! Every person who walks through the door is made to feel welcome by the staff’s friendliness, and the coffee helps too first thing in the morning. The quality of teaching material is also worth noting: the content of the Spanish syllabus is uniquely curated by Vamos itself, making the learning experience wholly original, and presented by seasoned teachers of the highest calibre. I have no critiques whatsoever! As a teacher here I have to mention, again, the warm welcome I have received by the Vamos staff. I’ve felt supported at every moment within the academy, and have had access to whatever teaching material I may need for each class. I recommend Vamos Academy without hesitation for anyone intending to learn a new language. You will meet wonderful people, enjoy an excellent teaching experience, and learn a LOT!
Response: Wow, thank you so much for your glowing review! We are thrilled to hear that you have had such a positive experience with us, both as a student and a teacher. It sounds like you have really enjoyed the quality of service, the helpful and friendly staff, and the unique and high-calibre teaching material. We are so glad to hear that you have felt welcome and supported by our staff, and that you have had access to all the teaching material you need. We work hard to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all of our students and teachers, and we are glad that it has made such a positive impact on your experience with us. We are also happy to hear that you have learned a lot and enjoyed your time with us. We take pride in providing top-quality education and support to help our students achieve their goals. Thank you for choosing Vamos Academy and for recommending us to others. We hope to see you again soon!

Travel Bug: I would recommend Vamos academy to anyone! Every single person at the academy is friendly and doing my TEFL course here introduced me to so many amazing people and friends I will cherish forever. The activities offered to us including wine tasting and tango dancing were so much fun:) Special shout-out to Stephan, Derek and Sol who are overly helpful and create such a great atmosphere in the academy!
Response: Thank you very much for your amazing comment! 🤗 We are very happy that you have chosen Vamos to do your TEFL course 🙏

Jana Kautská: I was studying Spanish and teaching English at Vamos - and I absolutely loved it! As a Spanish student, I felt supported and welcome, as the entire staff was friendly and willing to help. I have to appreciate the quality of communication with me as a student. Also, I am glad I could experience true language immersion by trying other activities in Spanish that Vamos offers, such as tango lessons. Last but not least, I would point out the quality of the materials, chosen well and appropriately for my level. As a teacher, I was provided with all the materials I needed, so the teaching preparation was quite easy. The best part, however, were my awesome students from different parts of South America. :) Thanks a lot for this experience!
Response: Thank you Jana for your lovely comment! We miss you already! It's feedback like yours that helps us grow as a community ✨

Alejandro Pablo Asorey: I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude on behalf of my son, John, for all the help and professionalism he received during his Spanish course. As a young transgender American, John was initially quite nervous about immersing himself in a new language and culture. However, thanks to the guidance and support of the team at Vamos Academy, he was able to make tremendous progress and has come to truly love the Spanish language. We would especially like to highlight the effort that the school made to ensure that John felt welcome and included. The teachers at Vamos Academy were all highly skilled, patient, and made the classes engaging and enjoyable. In addition, the team at Vamos Academy went above and beyond to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for John. We are extremely grateful to the teachers and the team at Vamos Academy for their hard work and dedication to providing a top-quality educational experience for John. We highly recommend Vamos Academy to anyone looking to improve their language skills or simply to have a great time learning.

Keara Mcauley: I am so pleased with my experience here. It's more than just Spanish classes, I feel like I made very personal relationships here. Vamos offers different activities everyday, so it is easy to make friends from all over the world. The staff are VERY kind and will help you with any aspect of your trip - like where you should go, what you should do, things you should see, etc. My teacher was great and kept the classes challenging but really fun. I was so sad to say goodbye when it was time to leave. I really recommend Vamos and recommend at least 3-4 weeks for the fullest experience.
Response: Hi Keara! Muchas gracias por tu review! We're extremely glad you had a nice experience with us and we're gonna miss you so much!

Fitz Tavernier Jr.: I took the one week (20hrs) intensive group classes and have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. They made me feel welcomed and it was fantastic group of people. The classes were extremely organized with the leadership and classwork and my learning experience was exactly what I needed! And they even planned social events outside of class which were fun. Definitely plan on going back to both Buenos Aires and Vamos Academy! HIGHLY recommended!
Response: Thank you for your review Fitz! 😊

Nicolle Maldonado: My entire experience here has been amazing. The staff has always been very helpful and lovely. Gian has been my teacher my entire time here and he is awesome. Very chill and creates a wonderful environment to learn. The activities here like the salsa and tango classes were also very fun. Not only that but this environment has allowed me to create wonderful friendships as well (: Thankful for the opportunity to be here!
Response: Nicolle, thank you so much for your review! We're gonna miss you!! ❤️

Caitlin Forsthoefel: I had a good experience with Vamos! They were responsive with my questions and I felt like I was appropriately placed at my level of Spanish. The only thing that I’d say that was unfortunate was the following: I had signed up for group classes and because there was no one else at my level that signed up (for my second week), I was converted to private classes for less hours. One of the main reasons that I wanted to go to Vamos was to improve my Spanish in a group dynamic. It would have been better if I was either brought down or up a level so I could be in a group. Otherwise, it was a positive experience. The teachers are knowledgeable and gave good exercises. I do wish we spoke more as that’s what I need more work with. Also, if we started on time, that would be nice too so I could get all that I could out of the two weeks. Ultimately, I would recommend going here.
Response: Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are glad to hear that you had a good experience with Vamos and that you found our team responsive to your questions. We are always striving to provide the best education possible for our students, and we are sorry that you were not able to experience the group dynamic that you were hoping for. However, we are glad to hear that you found our teachers knowledgeable and that you had a positive experience overall. We believe that the ability to speak and communicate in another language is a valuable skill that can open many doors, and we are glad that we were able to help you improve your Spanish. If you are interested in continuing your education with us, we offer online classes that may be a good fit for you. We believe that learning should be enjoyable and we are committed to providing a top-quality educational experience to all of our students. We would be happy to discuss your options and help you find the right program to meet your language goals. Thank you again for your feedback and for choosing Vamos Academy. We hope to have the opportunity to work with you again in the future.

Janne Gribling: I had an amazing time at Vamos academy! The teachers are super kind and take their time to explain. Highlight of the days were the cultural activities organized by Luciana, who really made an effort in making sure all of us had a great time in Buenos Aires. Would not have been the same without her and Clara who was super helpful as well. Highly recommend! 🌞
Response: Hi Janne, thank you very much for your review! We are glad that you had a nice experience with us and we hope to see you soon in the near future. Safe travels ✈️

Ben Atha: I spent three weeks here at Vamos and had an amazing time. You get the opportunity to learn a lot of Spanish and practice it every day. The staff were wonderful and my classmates also made the experience even better. There's daily activities after class to learn more about Argentina, the culture, the people, and bond with other Spanish learners. My only regret is that I didn't have more time to spend taking classes here.
Response: Ben, it's so nice to hear from you! We miss you already! We're glad you had such a great experience with us :)

Elebaires: what do users think?

Lillian Langford: My boyfriend and I had an absolutely amazing experience studying three weeks at Elebaires! Everything, from the environment to the team to the community of students, was simply excellent. We were studying at different levels and we were both extremely satisfied with the teaching, the materials, and how our Spanish progressed during our studies. We were also so impressed by how caring and attentive all of the team working in the school were. Finally, they organize great (free) activities almost every day of the week and this was a great way to get to know new people and practice our Spanish even more. Thank you so much, Elebaires! I hope we’ll be back soon!
Response: Thank you very very much!!! It was beautiful to share with you too!!! To practice a lot!!

Sjoerd van der Sluijs: Amazing school in a beautiful building! I really enjoyed the way Elebaires teaches Spanish; they encourage you to speak as much as possible. The teachers are very kind and the school offers wonderful social events such as a real Argentinian asado. I would highly recommend to learn Spanish at this school in the amazing Buenos Aires!!
Response: Thank you very much Sjoerd!

Anne van de Coolwijk: Just finished my 8 week course at Elebaires language school, oh better said: just finished the best 8 weeks of my life. It was my first time outside of Europe and the first time of my life traveling alone. At first I was a little bit scared, but as soon as I arrived in Buenos Aires the staff of Elebaires helped me so much with everything. It felt like my second home and I wanna thank them for that. Also a big thanks to all the teachers for teaching me Spanish and making me enthusiastic about the language every time again (and yeah, that's a big deal especially in the mornings). At the moment I am ready to continue my travel. Gracias a todos!

Charlene Chiu: Seemed like a nice school and I wanted to take classes there, but there was a bit of misunderstanding where I wanted to sign up for a trial class, but was scheduled for an info meeting instead. I think it's a minor issue that could have been easily sorted out, so I wrote an email to Elebaires but never got a reply. A month later Elebaires says that it was my fault for not submitting the correct form.
Response: Dear Charlene, it is a pitty you couldn´t find the appropriate form to submit for a Free Trial. In our site is very clear where to book for a personal meeting with an advisor or where to sing up for a FREE class. Our goal is that you can always have a quick contact with us, and get ready for your Spanish learning. Our advisors offered you an inmediate reply for the online meeting, however we never knew you wanted to take the Free Trial instead. Elebaires always offers both instances so our learners can have a personal communication with our staff and enjoy the free class onsite. You are always welcome!

Harriet Noble: Wow, what a school. I have had a fantastic experience at Elebaires. i have been here for three months, my Spanish has come on leaps and bounds and I have enjoyed every minute of it! The teachers are brilliant, incredibly patient and the lessons are always engaging and fun. The staff are incredibly welcoming and the after lesson activities are a fantastic way to practice Spanish and get to know the city. i would recommend this school to anyone wanting to learn or improve Spanish. What a fun time I have had and such great people I have met!

Lucy S: Amazing school. Really enjoyed my 4 week stay in Argentina thanks to the staff and fellow students at the school. My classes were interesting and allowed me to greatly improve my Spanish in a short period of time. The school runs many activities (museum visits, cycling and walking tours of Buenos Aires amongst others) allowing you to discover the city with your classmates. The staff are extremely kind and willing to help you with any aspect of your stay. I felt very welcome and would highly recommend this Spanish school for a great experience in Buenos Aires.

Sasha Jokic: I completed both a TEFL course and two weeks of Spanish at Elebaires and I absolutely loved it. I cannot recommend the school enough. All the teachers and staff are so friendly and helpful and it feels like one big family. I really enjoyed all the extra activities they provided such as the lunches and trips. Definitely one of the best schools in Buenos Aires!
Response: Good luck English teacher! Thank you for your opinion about us!

H Wilson: Arriving into any big city can be an incredibly daunting experience- even for native speakers. I heard about Elebaires from the hostel that I was staying at and it was a fantastic choice. I had never experienced such small classes nor such great teachers. I quickly found out that the mantra at Elebaires is ´serious work, done in a fun way´. That is to say that the lessons are not painfully dull, there is lots of conversation and grammar but it is always done in a way that is practical and involves real life experiences. Elebaires know that learning a language is not just about text books and grammar, its about getting exposure and being in situations where you can learn quickly and use new vocab on a daily basis. This is proven by the fact that they offer activities almost daily – bicycle tours, wine tasting, cinema, art museums – the list is endless. The other way that Elebaires stood out for me was their careful selection of the accommodation for students. From home stay, to apartment sharing with natives to hostels and hotels, everything and everyone was looked after. The apartment that Elebaires found me was with some lovely Argentines and this really helped my Spanish to improve. All of the other students agreed that Elebaires had done a great job to ensure that every student was happy, not just at school but also out of school. It is this holistic approach that sets Elebaires apart. Its not just about the teaching. They have lots of group activities; they are just a small family that will help you do anything, from partying to buying a bus ticket or helping out with booking a trip anywhere. The four week course was fantastic and my Spanish improved exponentially! Ill be back……

Erica Smith: I had an excellent experience working with Elebaires Spanish online. My teacher, Dalia, created lessons that met my specific needs. I feel more confident in my conversational Spanish and with using it in my career as well!!! I look forward to taking more lessons in the fall! This experience was 100% worth the investment!
Response: Thank you Erica!

Grace Miller: My experience at this school was amazing! I felt incredibly welcomed and learned a lot. The daily after class activities are so fun and allow you to explore the city with someone who knows it well, while also practicing and progressing your Spanish. The staff makes it clear that they are a resource for you throughout your whole stay in Buenos Aires, even with matters outside the school. The classes are small and conversational so you are able to participate a lot and practice the grammar you know or have just learned. The atmosphere of the school is very inclusive and inviting so you are encouraged to use the space in a way that makes you most comfortable. They are very flexible with the amount of time you want to take classes whether it be for 1 week or 6 months so I definitely recommend this school to any and all travelers!
Response: Thank you Grace, it was very nice to share with you the Spanish classes and your TEFL course! And we are very happy to see you working a lot teaching English here!!! Always welcome!

CASA Spanish Academy: what do users think?

Francis Pistone: CASA Spanish Academy is a great school. I spent 3 months here and loved it. The class sizes are small which means they are more personalized and you are not just listening to 7 other people talk (which happens in other schools). The classes were a good mix of oral and grammar. My teacher Cecilia was fluent in English and studied linguistics and I felt this made a massive difference (especially as I become more advanced) when it came to explaining the finer details. Xavier the owner was also great and helped me out when my debit card was swallowed by the cash machine. Loved the school and loved the people.
Response: Hola Francis Thanks for your kind words. Take care of your debit card. ATM are dangerous in Buenos Aires Wish you the best,, we hope to see you soon. PS: Cecilia send you kisses.

James Oshea: CASA has been great getting me started learning Spanish. The instructors and staff are very knowledgeable and willing to help. If you're looking to become fluent like I am it is a great place to go. Even if you're only here for a week or two and want to get a little better with the language, they're great for that as well. They'll also help you maximize your time in Buenos Aires!
Response: Hi Jim Thank you for your assessment and your words. You are always welcome at CASA.

Sofi Roberson: CASA Spanish Academy was recommended by a friend. I spent six weeks studying Spanish to feel secure to start my trip to South America. The deal was the best I could have done. Karen and Rita, the teachers were excellent, always willing to help to improve every day. The best Spanish school I found. I was taught not only the language but also the customs of Argentina, the best tips for exploring Buenos Aires and tourist sites in the provinces. Special mention to the school building, is beautiful! I spent the best mornings in Buenos Aires. Spread the word! CASA Spanish Academy is the best choice to start in South America.
Response: Hola Sofi Thanks for your kind words. Karen and Rita wish the best for you. Have a nice trip. Hope to see you soon.

Peter Fitz: I studied spanish at CASA Spanish Academy for 4 weeks and loved it. The owner Xavier is really friendly and checked what my objectives were before I started and developed a specific plan for me to obtain them. They were also able to offer me a huge discount on accomodation which obviously was great to here because I had spent a fortune in Patagonia. The teachers are excellent, and the classes were really interesting. I took an intensive course which was a good mix of group classes and some private classes. I am now much more confident speaking spanish and my written spanish has improved alot. The school also offers social nights three nights a week, and these were a really good way to meet other backpackers. CASA Spanish Academy is the best place to study spanish in Buenos Aires!
Response: Hi Peter Thanks for your kind words. Hope to see you soon. Have a nice trip through South America.

Mary Bradly: I found CASA Spanish Academy close to my hostel in downtown. The place was outstanding, I spent 3 weeks learning with Federico, my teacher, he was very patient and qualified. I met Kata and Mia who were travelling with me through Chile.I recommend CASA.
Response: Hello Mary, thanks for your words. Good trip!

M Hewitt: I arrived in Buenos Aires for a six-month stay and I didn't know anyone or have any ties to the city. Going to CASA was the best decision I made - not only is the Spanish teaching extremely high quality (at such a reasonable price that I don't understand how they sustain it, but they do), it also gave me a solid base in the city - a social life, travel tips, help with my work, practical help... basically a family. Having been to a couple of other, very corporate-minded schools in the city (not mentioning names but a quick google search will come up with them), I 100% recommend CASA to everyone for a much more authentic and meaningful experience. CASA is one of the things I miss most about my time in Argentina, and if I'm ever back in BsAs, they will be the first place I go to from the airport!
Response: Hello Mia, your words are as warm as yourself. We have the best memory of you and we will always miss you. You were a very applied student and great person. We are always waiting for you for a barbecue. Kisses

Nils Zimmermann: CASA Spanish Acadmey offered me a fantastic time, with everyone being very welcoming and friendly. My spanish skills improved rapidly and did so in a very easy way. You can chose from different programs tailored to your needs, such as the residential program boosting you to become a "real Argentine" within a few weeks. Also, with Xavier you will be ensured a perfect insight into the country's yerba mate tea culture. Viva Argentina.
Response: Thanks Nils! Anytime you want, stop by CASA to have some mates!

Jack Cornforth: Where to start... I had an amazing couple of months learning Spanish at Casa. After doing quite a lot of research and having a trial lesson at another school, i went with Casa as it seemed good value for money, was able to cater for my need to take classes after work, and the staff and teachers all seemed to be lovely people. Then aside from learning loads in an always fun and dynamic way, the flexibility and general helpfulness of everyone involved in the school meant it really surpassed my expectations. Would definitely recommend to all. A big thank you everyone at Casa, and to Karen and Xavier in particular! Un abrazo! x
Response: Hi Jack, It was a pleasure to have a student like you, so eager and enthusiastic. Thanks for your words.

Thomas Hutchinson: Moving to a foreign country can be a daunting task; especially if you are, like I was, unable to speak the language. I had done a couple of months of Duolingo in Spanish but nothing could prepare me for immersion into Buenos Aires's culture, language and landscape. My partner, who was more familiar with the city and language, had tried other language schools in the city before stumbling upon Casa. From my first introduction to Xavi at the school, I have been blown away by their ethos. Casa Spanish is above all about education. For all the socials, the advice on where to travel in the city, the wonderful and friendly staff underpinning what Casa is about is learning languages - Spanish or English. I started on an intense course everyday in February with the excellent and humorous Rita with Spanish from scratch. From this, I was having conversations in Spanish from day one. It was a baptism of fire - intense but fun. We played word games, involved ourselves in role play and even sang some Argentine karaoke (my first introduction to Soda Stereo). At all points in my relationship with Casa, they have bent over backwards to look after myself and my partner. They were accommodating for when we needed to change our schedule, were always welcoming when we needed advice on the city or needed to pop in and they were always warm, friendly, funny and inviting. They became our second family. I've spent the last two months having one-on-one conversations with Karen - another of the tutors - on topics that I dictate to help my conversational skills. Karen is so patient, kind and intelligent; offering excellent advise on how to build on communication skills. Rita, Karen and Xavi were always supportive - hablar, hablar, hablar, even if you make mistakes. And make sure you practice everyday. Casa offers so much more than education too. I have joined Casa at socials involving tango, live music, partying and a world-class asado (an Argentine traditional "BBQ"). We are leaving Argentina soon and it will be difficult; mainly for missing these excellent people and their outstanding school. It says a lot that, when we returned from a 20 day excursion to Cordoba and Mendoza, we came to Casa for a class and it felt like we were coming home. Gracias Xavi, Rita y Karen y gracias por Casa!
Response: Hello Tom, Thank you for your warm words. Good return to you and Mia. Cheers!

Hippolyte GAVILAN: Best possible experience. I felt like home from day one in this truly lovely school. The entire staff is incredible, really helpful and caring. The teachers are amazing and make learning Spanish easy and super fun. I progressed way faster than I expected and made great friends.
Response: Hello Hippolyte, thank you for your assessment and words. You were a great student and you deserve everything for your effort; We hope to see you again in the future.

VOS Buenos Aires: what do users think?

Maren Meyer: Really good language school. The teachers are really expierenced and know how to teach Spanish in a good way. Additionally exists free time activities like Tango or visits of museums. I was alone in my level in a regular class and they did not cut the amount of hours so I had one week private classes. That was incredible.

Calum Ahmed: VOS school was incredibly helpful. A perfect way to start your journey in Argentina. We were taught Argentine customs, sayings, what to do and what not to do and much more. The staff is more than helpful and the two week course I took really bettered my Spanish. I would highly recommend it

Emma Repp: I had a fantastic experience at Vos! My two week class was conversation based, making the transition into speaking Spanish every day so much easier. My Spanish grammar improved significantly! Everyone is super friendly and always willing to answer your questions, even if they are not Spanish-language based. I definetly recommend studying here, even if it is not for long.

Robert White: This school is a great way to transition into a Spanish speaking environment if you already have a solid basis in the language. But it is also great for beginning to learn Spanish, because it focuses on the pragmatic aspects of the language (Conversation, auditory abilities, and pronunciation. Th teachers and staff are all incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Anna Pieczyrak-Pisulińska: Before coming to VOS I could say only few basic things in Spanish. After 6 weeks of intensive course I don’t have any problem to speak. Very good teachers and nice owners. And a lot of extra cultural activities!

Alyson Auffenberg: I can't expresses how beyond impressed I was with Che Vos, the people were so incredibly over the top nice, the teachers were amazing (and really cared about there jobs) and I learned so so much! I Came to Buenos Aires and planned to stay for only one week, because of how much I felt like I was learning in such a short period of time, I decided to stay for 2 more weeks. Sometimes, I would walk out of a class and feel like I was on a totally different planet because I had so much new information running around in my brain. But three weeks later, I really feel so much more confidence when I speak and like I understand the language so much more! Sending big hugs and a million bazillion thanks to everyone at Che Vos :) If you get the chance to attend this school, take it!!! I really, really hope to be back soon! (I did the intensive course ;))

No Perrin: Nice school with nice people. The atmosphere is very familiarare. There is coffe all the time^^ Some cultural activities are organized during the weekids (tango, barbecue, teater,...). I really enjoyed my time in this school.

Lauren Lucky: We had the best time learning Spanish and Tango for 3 weeks here!

הדר דמירל: The best school for learning Espanol. Amaizing teachers and good environment. Highly recommended!!!

Юлия Проценко: The best school in Buenos Aires, the teachers teach deeply and with patience, the classes are fun, there is a lot of activity outside. I'm still studying at VOS

Expanish - Spanish School in Buenos Aires: what do users think?

Ma thilda: EXCEPCIONAL EXPERIENCE!!! ♥︎ I've been studying at Expanish for 3 weeks and it has been such an incredible experience. The teachers, the staff and even the principal have helped me through my learning journey with their tenderness, love of teaching and professionalism. The school was built in a magnificent house with bright rooms and a large garden where students can meet to share mates and smiles. It is also a great way to meet people from all over the world while sharing your love of languages. I would give it a review of 10/5 stars if I could. Merci Gabriel, Liliana, Sonia, Pablo and Carlos for your brilliant work. Un abrazo, Tilda
Response: ¡Hola, Tilda! Thank you so much for such a nice comment! We loved having you at the school and we are really happy to know you'v enjoyed your time with us too! Hope we get to see you again in the future, at least to say hi! ¡Un fuerte abrazo!

Larissa Rüßmann: I loved my experience with Expanish in Buenos Aires! Unfortunately, I was only able to attend the school for one week for intensive classes (Bildungsurlaub) but wish that I could have stayed longer. It’s such a nice and warm atmosphere and the teachers are great! I had a “normal” class in the morning and a conversation class in the afternoon and feel like I made great progress. The teachers really made it easy to engage especially during the conversation classes. Loved my classes with Carlos and Juliana!
Response: ¡Hola, Larissa! Thank you so much for such a nice comment! :) We are really happy to know you've enjoyed your classes with Carlos and Juliana and your overall experience at the school! Hope we get to see you again someday in the future! ¡Un fuerte abrazo!

Brian Gray: I spent three weeks at Expanish in Buenos Aires. The location is great, close to public transport but also loads of great choices of places to stay within walking distance. The teaching materials were good and they cater for all levels … but the most important thing for me was the quality of the teaching itself. I was fortunate to have an amazing teacher – Cecilia. She made the learning fun and was great at keeping everyone involved, engaged and interested. I’m planning to go back for a further four weeks sometime soon. Would definitely recommend.
Response: ¡Hola, Brian! Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a nice comment! We are really happy to know you've enjoyed your classes with Cecilia! We would love to have you back in the near future! ¡Un fuerte abrazo de todo el equipo de Expanish!

Ebticem M.: I spent an amazing week at Expanish! Great teacher! The staff is really nice and helpful and the building is gorgeous! Outside Spanish classes, the school offers many activities. During this week I took tango classes and went to a wine tasting. I definitely recommend this school!
Response: ¡Hola, Ebticem! Thank you so much for your comment! We are really happy to know you've enjoyed your time with us! If you are ever in Buenos Aires again, don't hesitate to come and say hi! ¡Un abrazo!

Marianna Krukarova: The best experience. School was amazing, i met so many nice people and we had fun all time during the course. I had teacher Sonia. She was very creative and patient teacher. After classes we had so many activities and we felt like home. Expanish brought very kind and friendly atmosfere. Thank you so much for amazing experience, if can stay more i will do it! 💕💕💕 i wish you the best!🤗🤗😊
Response: ¡Hola, Marianna! Thank you so much for such a nice and detailed comment! We are really happy to know you've enjoyed classes with Sonia :) We loved having you at our school and hope we get to see you again someday! At least to say hi ;) ¡Un fuerte abrazo de todo el staff!

Alexa Horvathova: Studying in Expanish was a great experience for me. The school offers a really professional approach, the professors always try to make the teaching really suitable for you, and if by chance there was some problem, it is always possible to switch to another class after talking with the school management. The school also provides study materials that will help you a lot in practicing the language. The only disadvantage from my side is probably the fact that new students arrive every week and therefore you have to constantly get used to new classmates. But overall I REALLY recommend the school!😊
Response: ¡Hola, Alexa! Thank you very much for your comment! :) We loved having you in our school and are really happy to know you've enjoyed your time with us! Hope we get to see you agan sometime! ¡Un fuerte abrazo!

Onno Mellies: I had a great time with you in Buenos Aires. I couldn't imagine how much I would learn in just 1 week of beginner lesson. But your teachers are fantastic, they created an atmosphere for perfect progress and the school itself is a great place to focus. Everyone was super helpful and kind. I can especially recommend the afternoon trips around the city, there I practiced a lot of the learned lessons. Thank you all and see you soon for my next level course!
Response: ¡Hola, Onno! Thank you so much for such a nice comment! :) We loved having you and are really happy to know you've enjoyed your time with us! Hope we get to see you again some time! ¡Un fuerte abrazo de todo el staff!

Peter Williams: The one week beginners course was fantastic, with an excellent teacher in Sofia. The venue and it's location is ideal, with lots of nearby cafes and even a Western Union cambio on the doorstep. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and at the end of the week felt I'd made good progress. I recommend Expanish to anyone thinking of learning or improving their Spanish in Buenos Aries.
Response: ¡Hola, Peter! ¡Muchas gracias por tu comentario! We are really happy to know you've enjoyed your classes! It was a pleasure having you with us! We hope you are well and if you ever come back to Buenos aires do not hesitate to come and say hi :) ¡Un abrazo!

james lee: I had a great experience at the school. The teachers were excelente the atmosphere friendly and the learning material thorough. I feel my Spanish improved a lot during my 8 weeks at the school and was inspired to continue learning!
Response: ¡Muchas gracias, James, por tu comentario! We are really happy to know you've enjoyed your time at our school! We loved having you and hope we get to see you again someday! ¡Un abrazo!

Idun Eraker: I cannot recommend this school enough - anyone who's thinking of taking some Spanish classes while in Buenos Aires; choose this one! Amazing teachers and staff, I learned so much in such a short time, and they helped me with everything I needed at all times! And it's so social with so many great activities to join every day, I really loved it.
Response: ¡Hola, Idun! Thank you for such a nice comment! We are really happy you felt comfortable at our school! We loved having you as our student and hope we get to see you again someday... at least to say hi! ;) ¡Un fuerte abrazo!

BAse: what do users think?

Whatever Prensa: I had signed up for a week of classes and ended up taking 5!! I enjoyed not only the classes but the company, the environment, the beautiful rooftop and the school's pets! I wanted to learn "neutral" Spanish and they were super accommodating to my request. I had teachers from different parts of Latin America and loved them all. I recommend studying here, you'll learn and make friends!

Ally Layton: BAse is a really special school. When we came to Buenos Aires, we knew no one, but meeting Solana is like having a family member in BA. Not only did we take classes there, we were able to connect with so many other people, have lovely asados, and get the inside scoop on life here. We felt very at ease with our teachers and were able to ask for what we wanted and direct our experience accordingly. <3 so much love for everyone here.

adrian Roncaglia: I had a friend from France visiting in Argentina and he wanted to take some classes. At BAse institute they were super welcoming, flexible and loving. He is now back in France and still takes classes with them online... he fell in love with the place. I want to take French classes at BAse institute if they start teaching French as well.

Press Anarchy: When I first came to BAse they offered not just Spanish lessons but also a “family” in BA. And they went above and beyond my expectations. They are amazing, I felt so supported as an expat. BAse is what I’m going to miss the most when I leave Argentina.

Callie Dolloff: What good vibes here! I love working here AND I am learning so much too! I wish every trip abroad I took before had led me to a language school like this to get deeper into the culture and language.

Paula Oliva: Great teachers!!

Jorge Caceres: This is not only a fun and effective Language school, it is a family. I recommend this place to anyone willing to experience something beyond learning.

Lecorbu Desarrollos: Love it here! A great place to learn! Can’t think of a better place!

Gabriela Laura Pacheco: I recommend BAse I learn every week. Ideal for the way of teaching. Very good teachers highly recommended. Nice groups, pleasant place, nice atmosphere and very different from the typical language teaching institutes. I love your pets, they are adorable.

Desi Desi: The best place to learn English, not only classes, is a place to get rich! They help you and pamper in everything they can! It is flexible and serious! It is also located in Palermo, the best and most picturesque neighborhood of Bs As. It is a real pleasure!

Spanish school in Buenos Aires - Wanderlust Spanish: what do users think?

Chris Tran: I’m so happy I found Wanderlust. I was staying in Palermo Soho for a month and the school was just a short walk away. Getting put into a class was super fast and prices were very reasonable. The staff are incredibly friendly. My teacher, Mica, was an amazing all round teacher. She knew exactly how much grammar practice and speaking practice I needed and adjusted accordingly. It was super helpful. I signed up for the 20 hours and ended up doing a few more. Highly recommend it.
Response: Thank you Chris! We are happy that you enjoyed Wander 😍

Daisy Dyke: I LOVE this company! I have been learning Spanish for 5 hours a week with Juli & he is AMAZING! Really supportive, patient and his lessons are always super interesting! Camila is also great with communication for payments & other admin parts to my lessons - she is also super lovely :). Fr the first 2 weeks I was in the school in BA but I now have them online as I loved them so much! I have a full time job & travel alot but they are always very understanding and flexible with the lessons. 10000000% recommended if you are looking for a language school.
Response: Daisy, muchas gracias !!! You are the best!! We are happy to have you in Wanderlust! :) <3

Liam Garen: I found Wanderlust on google and can say it’s the best school I have been too, to learn Spanish after trying 2 other different schools in brisbane Australia. My teacher Emilia is really amazing at what she does and has helped me improve my Spanish a lot in such a small amount of time I look forward to continuing my classes with Wanderlust would recommend to anyone looking for a good school online or in person if your in Argentina.
Response: Thanks Liam! Happy to receive you in Buenos Aires! :)

Josefien Brasser: If you’re looking for a personal, high quality, smaller Spanish school with motivated staff and highly educated teachers this is the place to go. I took private Spanish classes here for about 6 weeks and I absolutely loved it. It’s a smaller school and therefore are flexible to adapt to your personal needs. They make you feel at home and create with their activities and warm personal attention a great, relaxed atmosphere. I can only recommend!!
Response: Oh Josefien! Thanks for your words! We wait for you whenever you want!

Pratibha Chauhan: I had the pleasure of learning Spanish at wanderlust for about a month in Buenos Aires. All the staff at the school is very friendly and helpful! Cata, my instructor, is a phenomenal teacher who is very dedicated to helping her students improve. She adjusted her lessons to accommodate my individual learning needs! Highly recommended!
Response: Pratibha, it was a pleasure to have you in the school! Thank you for your words! :)

Ben Konkol: I stayed in Buenos Aires for 2 months, working remotely and Wanderlust became my home away from home. I was able to find a class that worked with my schedule and made a bunch of amazing friends while attending. Mica was awesome and I learned a ton, and was able to improve my Spanish quite a bit while in Argentina. Definitely recommend.
Response: Thank you very much Ben!! Pleased to meet you! :)

Matt Gonda: May family of 5 spent a little over three weeks in classes. It was a great way to not only learn everyday phrases, but meet other folks traveling to Buenos Aires, learn about the culture of the city, and get a good foundational understanding of Argentinian Spanish. They were able to get us into separate classes based on our family members' knowledge of Spanish and did a good job of pushing us to learn. Pricing is very fair and in line with other schools in the area.
Response: Muchas gracias, Matt! It was very nice to have the whole family in the school! A great experience of sharing for eveybody! Hope to see you all soon again!

Jennifer Sunderlin: Fantastic Spanish school in the best location in Buenos Aires ! I stayed two weeks at this school taking intensive lessons, the teachers were so much fun and the classes were interactive and a great mix of teaching methods. Cata was one of the best teachers I’ve ever had in 15 years of learning Spanish! The school is right in Palermo and on a main road near supermarkets, gyms, cafes, and many restaurants. Perfect spot for getting an air b n b and really enjoying BA! The school is very sociable with activities and events organised several days and nights of the week. Thanks again Wunderlust!
Response: Thank you very much Jennifer! What beautiful words! We wait for you when you come back!! :)

Be Two Be: I can say that Wanderlust has been the best language school in which I have studied. I recommend it to anyone who wants to have an incredible experience in Buenos Aires and learn Spanish in a fun and dynamic way.
Response: Thank you, guys! You rock! :)

Vctr: A good place to improve my Spanish 😎. They were able to match my learning style with an appropriate teacher 😊 as my preferred approach was on ‘practical use’ and they helped hugely to help me meet my objectives 🕺🏻💃. The staff were always very helpful 👍. If I return to BA, I will visit this school Again 👍.
Response: Thank you very much for your words, Victor! We wait for you again if you return to Buenos Aires :)

Academia Buenos Aires: what do users think?

Lucy Moon: The school has academic quality materials, and professional and experienced teachers. This is exactly what I was looking for, and whilst the school is not the cheapest in the city, it is absolutely worth it because the difference in quality is obvious compared to another school I tried.

Sabrina Alonso: Outstanding school. I am a huge fan. I am a registered nurse and I have done both the intensive course there in Buenos Aires with medical Spanish and the online distance learning. All the teachers and staff have been extremely skilled, kind and fun. The group classes are usually quite small and the course work is well organized. They also offer many after class activities for students that allow for a more in depth introduction into Argentine life and culture. I will be attending the school again for 6 months and am confident my Spanish will develop so that I can better serve my patients when I return to the US.

John Laing: I studied both group and private lessons at Academia for 2 months in June and July 2017. As an English teacher myself, I was concerned about studying another language, and how challenging it would be to become a student rather than a teacher for a while. I had nothing to worry about! I had 5 different teachers during my time at Academia and every one of them was professional, informative and understanding of my needs while having unique approaches to learning. They all had a solid understanding of the language and were able to help me move from a total beginner to a CEFR B1 level in those 8 weeks. Of course, you need to be motivated to learn, and Academia helped me reach my goal to start learning Spanish. I highly recommend including some private classes, as these classes helped me to gain confidence in a one-on-one environment. The textbooks are well designed, focusing on a solid understanding of the grammar of Spanish, and the culture of Argentina. It was great to learn about the country I was in while also learning the language. The teachers, also, are passionate about Latin American and Argentinian life, so I was very happy with the cultural aspects of the course. All in all, I am so pleased to have chosen Academia as my introduction to Spanish language learning. I have nothing but praise for the teachers and the admin staff (Silvana and Hanna are the friendliest and most helpful ladies you could ever hope to meet), and recommend Academia as an excellent school to improve your Spanish skills.

Anna: Academia Buenos Aires is a great school if you are looking to find a way to learn Spanish or improve your language skills. I went to this school because I had already been studying Spanish for awhile, but I eventually want to be a translator and I wanted to improve my language skills. I ended up deciding to take a mixture of group and individual classes at the school and I stayed for about three months taking classes. The group classes are small enough to give students speaking practice. The classes are very hands-on and interactive. The individual classes helped me by focusing on my weak areas. By doing a mixture of the classes, I had several teachers and they were all very professional and knew their subject areas well. I also stayed in a home stay that was organized by the school and it was very comfortable and allowed me to practice Spanish everyday. From my first day there, the staff in the office and the teachers provided a very welcoming and encouraging atmosphere and they were all interested in helping me to achieve my goals. Also, the school prepares different activities throughout the week such as guided tours so that you can familiarize yourself with the different Buenos Aires' neighborhoods. There are also workshops that focus on pronunciation and the porteño dialect of Spanish as well as other workshops that cover different topics. There is also a movie night every week which shows classic Argentinean movies which really gives you an insight into Argentinean culture. I really feel that Academia Buenos Aires offers a high quality of education so that you get a complete immersion experience into Argentina. I highly recommend it!

Anna Mátyus: me encante Academia Buenos Aires! I can strongly recommend this language school for varios reasons: friendly atmosphere, committed staff, central location. Thanks to them I learnt way more than grammar and vocab: I've got to know more about the local culture and history, the milongas and el cine argentino, among others. They will teach you the castellano rioplatense thus you will find the common ground with Argentine people more easily. I found the people working there very helpful: they helped us to organize a weekend trip to a nearby village with a cooking workshop and also a roadtrip to the north. :) lifelong memories...Thank you Academia!

Tuba Biret Ertan: Hola everyone! I was at Academia Buenos Aires for four weeks in July 2017. I had a GREAT time there thanks to every single soul there who cares for their students and treats them like a member of the family. The amazing women behind the desks who were so patient with the same questions they had to answer every day, I cannot thank all of you enough. Film nights, great trips in the city lead by cultured teachers (Diana, you are THE La Boca expert) and dancing at the coolest milonga in the city were some of the many experiences I will never forget. As for the classes, the school has wonderful and experienced teachers who are there to help you if you want to learn. Homework is inevitable, and of course, speaking Spanish is a must. I am planning to send my 15-year-old daughter to Academia in a couple of years. I know she’ll be in good hands. Thank you all for making my time in Buenos Aires unforgettable! Abrazos, Tuba

Carl-Emil Søe: I usually never take the time to do reviews but my experience was unfortunately so bad that I have to in this case. I've been to language schools in Spain, Colombia and Uruguay and Academia Buenos Aires was by far the worst. I was studying at the intermediate level with a lazy teacher who spent way to much time on random details instead of having the interest in learning us the language. I was in a group with two others - one of them were waay below the required level which meant that I and the other guy had to wait a lot to make sure the last person in the class understood the things. No common room where you could sit and chat with other students, very small amounts of coffee in the breaks - i didn't get any, but the bad teacher was definitely the thing that were the worst for me. I did complain but Urs - the german director of the school - did not offer any compensation. I didn't even pay myself , my work did that, but for me it should be a principle that you don't pay the full price for such a bad school. Be also careful if there are holidays during the week. The school will demand the full price - as was the case for me, because monday were public holiday. I would definitely try something else, even though their website looks nice. For example vamosspanish which I hear a lot of good things about. Or try their sister academy in Uruguay -that was quite good - even though that the money go to the same guy in the end;)
Response: Dear former student, I am the director of the school you attended. We take your comments seriously and have also done so when talking with you in person after your course ended, even if we do not agree with all of them. Let me answer your comments point by point. At any point in time we have more than 10 different Spanish level on offer, meaning that we can be quite precise with respect to constituting groups of students with the same skill levels. It also means that students can move up or down to other groups, if the teacher or the student feel the need and express it in a timely fashion, which was not the case here. All students are different and indeed they all have different learning strategies, styles and speeds. Teachers try to find a golden compromise and help advance the entire group to the next level. If a student feels that he learns more quickly than others or has other priorities as to content and style, he is free to convert group into (a lower amount of) individual classes at no extra charge. What we do know about your teacher is that he is one of the most experienced teachers we have and that he is usually loved by beginners and intermediate students such as yourself because of his patience, positive energy and clear style. We also know that this teacher is not lazy. What we cannot know is his mood during the week you were there. We are all human. We do know that the other two students in your group went traveling and then came back to Academia Buenos Aires to continue their studies. It would have been great to be able to address all of these issues before the end of your stay. In the introduction for new students on day 1 of classes, which you missed, we always encourage students to be proactive and speak with our team of academic coordinators if they feel uncomfortable in their group. Here are some additional points you mention: There are in fact quite a few common areas at the school, most with seating and some not, where you can chat with students during breaks and after school. There is a large reception and free drinks area with seating, a covered patio and a rooftop terrace with seating space for at least 20 students and a sunshade for hot days (you were there during one of the nicest times of the year). One is free to stay after school and use the common areas and even classrooms when they are free, so plenty of space to chat and meet people. Another good opportunity to chat with other students is during the free extracurricular activities in the afternoons, at school and all over town. As to free coffee you must have been unlucky, as we serve more than 15 liters per day — and more if there is demand. When we see that we have made a mistake, we are more than willing to make up for it, by adding hours to a student’s program or reducing price. However, in your case you were exactly on the level where you should have been. You continued exactly where you left off in Montevideo, you studied with one of our most experimented teachers, you had only two other students in your group. During a week with a public holiday we do NOT reduce the amount of classroom hours. We make up for classes missed during the holiday over the rest of the week, adding hours in the afternoons during two days. That was also the case during the week you were here. Of course, when you chose not to participate in these extra hours, that is something we cannot influence. Nor can we influence the fact that you could not participate in classes during your first day of the week because of work issues. So, indeed you did not get your 20 hours of classes, because you chose not to. Thank you for your compliment on our sister school in Uruguay, which works with the same curriculum and the same teaching method as the school in Buenos Aires. For your information, the owners of the two schools are not identical. Wishing you all the best ! Best regards, Utz

Jens Kammann: Great language school. If you want to learn Spanish in a Spanish speaking country, this is a great place to go. I have learned a lot with three weeks intensive course and had a lot of fun during the social activities.

David Hellekalek: Great staff, good organization, perfect location (at the cross were almost all subway lines come together). Took a whole 2 months of classes there and loved all of it. Small size of clases (1-5 persons), in my case we were always 2-3, which makes it very efficient.

Jingjie Dai: Academia Buenos Aires is awesome!!! The staff are super friendly and helpful and all the professors are really professional and patient! Highly recommended!!!

sulaiman Aloraini: I studied there for three weeksThe school’s teachers are highly qualified and respectful. The staff as well friendly and usefulRecommended

John Bateman: If you are part of an International Baccalaureate program and need a foreign language credit, this might be your place. The tests were so easy that you could pass without really knowing much. But in terms of learning Spanish or having an international experience, my weeks weren't very good. My instructor wouldn't drill, she just taught a grammar lesson once and expected us to know it. Instead of practicing Spanish, she played silly songs from Argentine pop stars. I complained to the school's management, but they said that exposure to the culture was part of the program. For living arrangements, I was supposed to be placed with a couple, but the host was a a grandmother and her husband had died years earlier. While other students were placed in homes where there were lots of other international students, I was the sole student in my home. So it was just me and gramma. I had a room all to myself in a very nice part of town, overlooking a beautiful parque. But my host was mostly interested in watching telenovelas. We could converse at a very basic level, but that was it. She served excellent meals the first week, and I referenced that on the survey the school gave me at the end of the first week. Sadly, I got no more surveys. In the second week, she served things like tomatoes stuffed with canned liver. On the third week, she had to leave for a family emergency so I would come home from school and microwave the dinner that the maid had prepared and left in the refrigerator. I was all alone in a big apartment, and really lonely in a huge city. I did things like join a local gym and met people through Craigslist platonic (all gone now), but got little social interaction from the homestay arranged by the school.
Response: Hi John! I I am really apologized about this experience, but I think you are referring to other school . I understand you did not get our Spanish courses and neither stay on our Host Families. We really take care about our students and the teachers are excellent on their classes and very professional. I invite you to visit our school if you come back to Argentina!

Andrew Millward: Fantastic place to learn Spanish. I spent 3 weeks and was amazed how much I learnt. Class sizes were small, teachers were excellent and the extra curricular activities were a nice touch.
Response: Thank you, Andrew! We truly appreciate your opinion! We hope you can come back soon!

Joaquin Bernal: Out of the three Spanish schools I been to, this one is definitely the best. It's very quiet, it's in a great location, and staff is amazing

Go Gowtham Mahalingam: Great school and faculty very accommodating and classes are small and well structured
Response: Thank you very much for your comment!

Carla Calegari: My mother and I decided to study Spanish in a foreign city so that our experience was immersive, we chose Buenos Aires because it is a beautiful historic city. However, we spent a lot of time looking for a school that could offer us the education we were looking for, and then ... We found COINED. From the first contact, the service was excellent, all very attentive and helpful so that we could have the best course option within our conditions. When we arrived in the city we were lost, until the first day of school we met Mariel, the school's director, who welcomed us with open arms, gave us all the instructions and made our days much lighter. The teachers are wonderful, I have to talk especially about Catalina, who besides understanding a lot about several languages and knowing my biggest difficulties as a Brazilian, also accompanies us to the tours that the school offers in the afternoon and gives us thousands of information about the city, history, culture, arts ... In short, they are professionals trained not only to teach, but really to EMERGING! The word to describe it is WONDERFUL!
Response: Dear Carla Thank you very much for your comment and for being part of our school. We hope to see you again soon. Cordially, COINED-Team

Renato Vasconcelos: Between the months of April and June 2018, I had my experience at Coined Buenos Aires during an exchange. My program included two weeks of Spanish classes and two months of professional practice in a communication and public relations company. The school office is located in a very quiet region of the city, near Plaza San Martín and Florida Street, which is very good because it is an area of tourist interest and has many bus options, in addition to a subway station very close. In addition to classes, it is possible to use the structure of the school (kitchen, bathroom, classrooms) when necessary, and that is another advantage of the location, because you can meet in the office, use the wi-fi to check the itinerary you are going to do and everything. As for the classes, I think they were very satisfactory. Maybe I could have taken more weeks of classes to reinforce grammar, but I had another goal which was the use of applied language in a professional setting. About the classes: I studied with Professor Magalí, who is an excellent professional and in addition to the classes, she always sent us exercises, movie directions and websites to practice more. If the student is interested, I don't see how he won't learn a lot with the school's class system. Another very good thing about the Coined BA is the extra programming, open to all students at the school. While you are attending classes with students of the same level, the extra activities (which include visits to museums, tours of the historic streets and etc) are with students of different levels, which is good because everyone can practice together and learn (or review ) different grammatical uses of other levels. Regarding the professional practice in communication, I consider that it was a very rich experience, because the applied use of language in the professional context is different and being able to train that in an environment where everyone is going to help you develop transmits a lot of security. During the internship, I was accompanied by professionals with years of experience in the market, I integrated myself with the company's work routine and participated in the coverage of national events, which was surely an unexpected and welcome bonus. Considering my experience, I fearlessly indicate the Coined BA for those who think of doing an exchange, be it for professional practice or to study the language.

Efser Semizoğlu: COINED Buenos Aires is a great place to learn Spanish and experience Buenos Aires. Teachers and people who work at COINED always behave as a member of their family. They are professionals and have information for all things you need during your trip.
Response: Thank you very much for your comment Efser!

MARCUS BOAVENTURA: Perfect location, excellent structure, very attentive staff and extremely dedicated teachers. An experience that I will repeat, for sure!
Response: Dear Marcus Thank you very much for your comment and for being part of our school. We hope to see you again soon. Cordially, COINED-Team

Jennifer Garson Shuper: My experience with Mente Argentina was top notch. They customized a program specifically tailored for my needs. I wanted to do a short travel sabbatical that included combining tango dance and attending the culinary Institute in Buenos Aires. They were accommodating, flexible and responsive. I learned so much in the short span of two weeks and came home with more knowledge than I could have ever amassed if having traveled alms without an anchor program such as Mente Argentina. They matched me with the ideal host mom in one of the best neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. Mente also provided me with the perfect combination of freedom and structure and as a bonus I met some really lovely people in the program that will remain my friends in the future from different parts of the world. I will never forget my time in Buenos Aires and I am grateful to Mente Argentina for helping me engineer the trip of a lifetime.

Ty Guerra: Mente Argentina was an awesome program for my 20 week journey in Buenos Aires. I was living independently with other roommates, but always felt secure and comfortable with the help from Mente and the planned activities we did. From La Bomba to the Palacio Barolo to the Microteatro, we were immersed in Argentine culture while bonding with others from the program. We created a great community and an unforgettable experience in BA, thanks to Mente.

Ellyse Rohl: I cannot recommend Mente enough! From the moment we arrived in Buenos Aires we were completely taken care of. The staff are amazing and so welcoming. They immediately help you adjust to your new home abroad and go above and beyond to help wherever they can. I have been home from my trip for a few weeks now and I cannot stop talking about the trip and how special it was because of Mente.

Ryan Allais: Mente Argentina made for a wonderful month abroad. The whole team is super organized and helpful with anything that I needed. I highly recommend the Spanish add-on and the Tango course! Of course, all of the weekly extra activities kept me busy. Highly recommend working through this program!

Alexander Agbabian: Mente offers programs that are profoundly meaningful. I was with them for 8 weeks on an internship program. Their staff–from the moment I arrived in Buenos Aires–helped me to get settled. They arranged a pick up from the airport directly to my homestay, provided me with cellular service with a local network, helped me get oriented in the city, and eased me into my internship. Working with Mente has been an incredible experience. I am hoping to be back with them for a graduate program in the coming years!

Bella Hynniman: Mente Argentina was the highlight of my summer this year! The organization was so helpful with everything from housing to money conversion to event/activity scheduling, and especially a shout out to Samantha Tigner who helped to make our stay as memorable and wonderful as it was. I can definitely see myself returning to Buenos Aires, and if I do I will definitely use Mente Argentina.

maartje mol: With Mente argentina I took the two week intensive wine program and it was amazing! I learned so much from it and I really got the basics of wine. Also, they arranged an apartment in Palermo for me which is the best location in Buenos Aires and there were so many nice activities to join. I would totally recommend coming here, thank you again Mente!

Chiara: Mente Argentina is an incredible organization that has been there for me every step of the way to letting my dream of going to Buenos Aires come true. Once there, they have assisted me, organized awesome activities and just made sure that my time in Buenos Aires was incredible from beginning to end 😍 Thank you so much Mente, absolutamente voy a volver!! 🤩

Ger McKeon: Mente was one of the best decisions I made when coming to Buenos Aires. Having an airport pick-up and greeting from Mente was the nicest thing when I arrived. They were so welcoming and instantly I felt like I had friends and a support group. Things like a subway card, a sim card for your phone, courses already organised and accommodation ready on arrival made such a difference. Mente go the extra step though and check in with you to make sure you're settling. They also have weekly activities and this was key as I could meet a whole network of people to socialise with, I never felt lonely. I had so much fun during my time with Mente, they went above and beyond my expectations. I have met the nicest people through Mente and I highly recommend them!

Anthony: Mente did a great job coordinating and organizing my stay in Argentina. This was my first time in South America and Mente made sure that everything was right. The staff was always reachable and was very supportive to make it the best experience possible for all members to intern, attend school and/ or live in Buenos Aires. Events and activities were always available for everyone to attend, which was a great way to make new friends. Overall, I would recommend this program to anyone interested in traveling to Argentina!

Hibra: what do users think?

Ailín Lisboa: Beautiful place. The classes are fantastic. Very nice methodology and very good teachers. They teach Spanish, Portuguese and English. There are classes for girls. There are online and face-to-face classes.
Response: Thank you Ailin ❤️

Rodolfo Pereira Guedes: I started the course at Hibra at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020 and now in October 2021 I have just finished the last level. The methodology and subjects offered made the course much lighter and enriching, the teachers are wonderful (all are NATIVE) and always willing to help you, the relationship is not a mechanical relationship between students and teacher but a very human one. The secretary and management also do an amazing job. I strongly recommend the school, I will always take it in my heart to have learned the language in such a didactic and innovative way. ¡ Son los mejores!
Response: Thank you ❤️

Camila Almeida: Excellent option to learn Spanish, with good teachers and for a fair price. Amazing experience!!
Response: Thanks Cami, a pleasure to have you!

Carolina Carvalho: Skip the 60 hour course (2 weeks). They were dishonest with me. They don't close the class and put me in the 4 week class. The methodology of the 4-week course is logically different from the 2-week course. They didn't accept the mistake. My last week (50% of the course) was the teachers giving exercises that would never be corrected (the correction was even denied) And a tip: If they ask you to change your time or day, only accept with a discount. To change all the schedules they charge a lot. So if it works for them, it should work for you too. I found them kind of sly and smart. Anyway. Only you are in Buenos Aires you are already immersed in the language, the course forces you to speak Spanish which is very good. If you want to take the course I even recommend it, run after it and be smart with them. Do not allow yourself to be placed in another class and do not allow them to change your time or day without a reward. The uncle of a girl in my course died, the girl spent a week in Brazil and was charged for it. Another one wanted to take the test the day before was also charged, I lost the notebook (blank pages) I could only buy the kit. Explanation of my situation: In the afternoon I did a 4-hour course with the 4-week staff and in the morning I did 2 hours alone. In the morning I would learn advanced things that my colleagues would only learn in the last few weeks. Imagine the confusion in my head? As the staff course was 4 weeks. Metrology was spending a week introducing Spanish. For me, who would do the 2-week course, spend a week introducing the language, it doesn't make any sense. When they started teaching real content my course ended. He proposed that they work the two overtime hours after the two weeks were over. They charged me. Like, I was trying to come up with a solution to shit they had done to me and I get charged for it. They are very naughty.

Paolla: The teachers are very good, I took the one month intensive course and I learned a lot. In the playground always has games with all levels that train Spanish and are fun, but not compulsory. There is biscuit, mate, coffee and tea in the breaks. I found the price fair compared to other similar courses.
Response: thanks Pao!!!!

lucas miguel teixeira: At the time I believed that the institution was the best, over time I discovered the opposite, many of the teachers know the contents well, but they did not prepare the classes, I think it was a period of waste of time and money , Clear! I hope they judge what they did. At the time I believed that the institution was better, as time discovered or contrary, many two professors know the content well, but they did not prepare the classrooms, although it was a waste of time and money, of course! I hope they have judged that fizeram.
Response: Hi Lucas, we regret your dissatisfaction with the course and we are also sorry that you did not pass the first level at our school. We hope you can review the contents of levels A1 and A2 to continue advancing with the study of Spanish.

Carolina Simi: The best Spanish course!!! All the teachers are native speakers and from the first day we already chat and live Spanish!
Response: Thank you very much!!!

Giovanna Romanini: I loved the experience, the classes are very useful. The teachers and the whole team are very competent and attentive!!
Response: A pleasure to have you here Gio!

Julia Piechontcoski: Great!!! Dedication and responsibility with teaching. In addition to the school being very welcoming.
Response: Thank you Julia!

Isabela Neves: I loved studying at school, teachers are very good and competent!!
Response: ainda is studying!!!!! We greatly appreciate your effort!

Instituto de Español Rayuela: what do users think?

Ivana Lalovic: I've studied with Rayuela for 18 months now and have had three different teachers - at first with face to face classes during a stay in Buenos Aires, and later virtually. The quality of teaching has remained impeccable throughout. Alejandro and his team draw together the culture, history, and identity of Argentinian Spanish in the delivery of their lessons, bringing the language to life. I cannot recommend Rayuela enough. If you're looking to learn more about the language and culture of this beautiful country, this is the gold standard.
Response: Dear Ivana: It has been a privilege to have you as a student at Hopscotch. Your motivation, your commitment, your sensitivity and intelligence have been a source of enormous encouragement for our professional practice. We have greatly enjoyed the classes with you, a great reader and excellent teacher of your mother tongue. We wish you the best of success in your Brazilian experience. A big hug from all of us.

Mike Melia: I've just completed an 8 week group course which was a wonderful experience. The organisation of the school is very professional whilst the classes are interesting, engaging, challenging and fun. The teachers were fantastic and encouraged me on every step of my learning journey which has led to a drastic improvement in all aspects of my Spanish. Not only did we learn about the language but also about the culture and history of Argentina which was a real bonus. I've attended a number of Spanish schools in the past and Rayuela has certainly been the best. Highly recommended and I will be returning the future.
Response: It has been a pleasure meeting you, Mike, and sharing those eight weeks of study with you. Thank you very much for your dedication and good vibes (the group, which was fantastic, would not have been so dynamic and fun without your participation). We wish you the best for the coming months and hope to see you again in August, when you return to Buenos Aires. Big hug from the entire Hopscotch team.

Steven Diaz: I highly recommend studying Spanish at Rayuela. I have studied Spanish in college and in a corporate environment, and neither provided the level of in-depth, personalized instruction I received at this school. The atmosphere is professional and focused. They get to know you and your needs and challenge you to learn fast. I studied with Alejandro for one month and my Spanish has improved greatly. We delved into Spanish through discussions of linguistics, Argentinian culture, and the history of the Spanish speaking world. At the same time, I received focused grammar instruction that was much more detailed than what I received in other classes. Highly recommended.
Response: Thank you, Steven, for expressing here your opinion about the course you have taken in Hopscotch. We will not forget your dedication, sensitivity and sympathy: a real privilege to have you as a student! We wish you much success in your new job and we hope to see you again one of those days to come. A hug.

Sebastian Immonen: Rayuela was, for me, the best possible way to learn Spanish straight from having no knowledge. It's structure is so individual and adaptable to your speed of learning that it never felt too slow or too complex. The teachers get to know you very well. I had Yanina as a teacher and she was passionate and patient, but also at times Alejandro would teach class and he was also phenomenal. I strongly recommend the school to anyone who wants to learn Spanish fast but with a real foundation.
Response: Thank you very much, Sebastian, for expressing your opinion about Hopscotch here. We loved sharing a month of intensive classes with you and your classmates, and it is a great satisfaction to know now that you have passed your Spanish exams at the university. Congratulations! Yanina and I wish you the best and send you a warm hug.

Reid Baldigara: I did over 40 hours of private lessons with Alejandro. What I like most was the helpful tips on travelling in South America and the differences between the countries. I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to improve their Spanish before travelling to South America.
Response: It was a pleasure having you as a student, Reid. I wish you enjoy your trip to South America. See you soon. Alexander

Ricky Riedl: I really enjoyed the 2-week intensive group course at Rayuela. The class had 3-5 students and Mercedes, our teacher, was fantastic. I felt welcome and comfortable at the school and the other students were very friendly. The other students and I often went for lunch and touring around city together, while improving our Spanish. After the course, I felt much more confident in my Spanish and had a great experience.
Response: Thank you very much, Ricky, for expressing your opinion here about the course you did at Rayuela. We really enjoy your presence and we admire your enormous motivation to learn. We wish you good luck and adventures, a tireless traveler on a bicycle. Until next time!

Ivana Lalovic: My time at Rayuela has been invaluable. I am coming to the end of five weeks’ intensive group classes. Both Alejandro and Yanina are wonderful, supportive teachers with an incredibly high standard of practice. Classes are tailored carefully to the needs of their students, whilst simultaneously providing an enriching insight into Hispanoamerican language and culture. My confidence in speaking Spanish has improved with each passing day and I feel that I have an increasingly secure understanding of the workings of the language. I am so grateful to have had the experience of studying here - it really made my time in Buenos Aires special.
Response: Hi Ivan, Thank you very much for the comments about your study experience at Instituto de Español Rayuela. Your words are a source of pride for us: it is always a great challenge to teach colleagues of other languages. We really enjoyed your participation in the classes and we hope to keep in touch with you. A warm hug from all our work team.

Carrie Lucido: I took classes at Instituto de Español Rayuela for a couple months and I absolutely loved it. The teachers were very knowledgeable and always willing to take time to explain any confusion I had. The lessons were tailored to my needs and included opportunity to practice through reading, writing, speaking and hearing. I feel much more confident in Spanish now than when I first started and this school is largely responsible for that. I highly recommend checking it out if you're interested in improving your Spanish.
Response: Thank you very much, Carrie, for your very positive comments and for recommending Hopscotch to other students. We loved the experience of teaching Spanish to a colleague dedicated to teaching English as a second or foreign language. See you again in March 2018, that is, in a short time. Good luck in your new job!

Eryn Snyder: I have only the best things to say about Instituto de Español Rayuela! I came to them the first time in 2013 to take some Spanish courses while conducting preliminary research for my dissertation and returned to them at the beginning of 2017 for a refresher course. The professors (I've taken courses with Alejandro, Yanina, and Judith) were all wonderful, friendly, and extremely professional. They really work to cultivate a positive learning environment and provide clear explanations for complex grammar rules. Each course is very much tailored to the students needs...this is NOT a place where you will wait in a large classroom to read out loud from some generic Spanish language workbook. Classes are small, customized, and dynamic. For someone like myself, with specific professional objectives for learning the language, Rayuela was the perfect pick because the instructors built up my speaking confidence and competence and provided custom support (even outside of the class hours!). If you are really serious about wanting to learn Spanish, I highly recommend Rayuela! Great people, great language education.
Response: «This is NOT a place where you will wait in a large classroom to read out loud from some generic Spanish language workbook. Classes are small, customized, and dynamic.» Exactly, Eryn! This is how we work at Hopscotch. Thank you very much for your words and for always trusting us. Will continue soon.

Daniele Salerno: I studied at Rayuela for four weeks in January. I learnt a lot and I improved my Spanish. Alejandra and Yanina adapt their classes to the level of students, to their communication, personal and professional needs (also as they emerge from daily experiences in Buenos Aires). The school is in a nice building in San Telmo and classes take place in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere (also thanks to the nice presence of the cat Juanita). This makes Rayuela unique, in particular if compared with the big and standardised schools of language. I highly recommend it.
Response: Hi Daniele! It has been a pleasure meeting you and having the opportunity to help you (a little) with your Spanish, which is excellent. We wish you much success in your research project at the University of Buenos Aires and we remain at your entire disposal for any questions you may have. A big hug and a warm meow from Juani.

Espacio Idiomas: what do users think?

Julia Sonda: My boyfriend and I are learning Spanish with Professor Julio and we are loving it. The teacher has an excellent methodology and the classes fly by. I highly recommend, the teacher is excellent and very attentive!
Response: Hello Julia! Thank you for your comments. We are very happy! For us it was also a pleasure that they come to the institute and to be able to give them the tools, so that they take more advantage of the trip and speak in Spanish. By continuing with virtual classes they will continue to add a lot of knowledge. Luck! Good luck!

Tamara Mielniczuk: I am finishing the first year of Portuguese. I want to highlight the professionalism of the entire team but also the flexibility. If you have doubts about going because of a schedule or work issue, know that they will accompany you and help you to continue. I think it stands out for its warmth, quality and options (virtual and face-to-face)
Response: Hi Tamara! Thank you for your comments. We are very happy!

Mariel Mora: I had the opportunity to study Portuguese from scratch at Espacio Idiomas, studying Intensive Basic and first Intermediate level, it was a great experience, because of the treatment, because of the program, and because of the excellent teachers, like Débora, I totally recommend studying there.
Response: Hello Mariel! Thank you for your comments. We are very happy that you were able to learn so much. Good luck!

Eli Sanchez: The best language institute, the classes are excellent, super dynamic and fun. Happy to be part of space languages!!! Teacher Julio from Portuguese is a genius!!!
Response: Hello Eliana! Thank you for your comments. We are very happy that you have fun and learn.

Nico Moscoloni: A great space to learn Portuguese!!! Dynamic group classes, lots of talk and a teacher named Julio who is a crack! 110% recommended
Response: Hi Nicolas! Thanks for your comment. We are very happy that you enjoy your Portuguese classes!

Aldana N: I loved the Portuguese classrooms very much! Debora is a very good teacher. So classrooms are very happy and we learn a lot. Obliged by you!. :) I took Portuguese classes during 2021 (basic intensive and intermediate from March to December). The classes were always with Debora. I really feel like I learned a lot!! In addition, the classes were very fun, dynamic. They were 2 hours of conversation based on a book made by the institute. For all classes you have to do written homework, send it to the teacher so she can correct it and also, for example, watch videos and then talk about it in class. I never imagined that I would be speaking Portuguese this year. I really appreciate the good vibes, and I'm going to miss the classes for real! Undoubtedly, if you want to learn Portuguese quickly and talk, accompanied by grammar, it is the ideal place. One of the things that stands out the most is that everything we learned are things that we can implement in everyday life. Obliged!!!
Response: Hello Aldana! Thank you very much for your comment and all your explanations of what the course is like and what we offer to the students. Your evolution was very great in such a short time. We are very happy!

Alejandra Vilchez: I studied Portuguese some time ago and the place is highly recommended. The atmosphere is super nice and the attention is warm and familiar. I never had so much fun learning. A little later I took the CELPEBRAS international Portuguese exam with excellent results.
Response: Hi Alejandra! We are very glad that you were able to learn so much while having fun. Thank you for your comments. Cheers!

Ezequiel Streitenberger: The classes are very useful, they are very well designed to make the most of your time. The guys are very cool and Mariana is the best teacher 😊
Response: Hi Ezekiel! Thank you for your comments. We hope you enjoy the trip a lot and can use everything you learned!

Ema San: Excellent place to learn English, the teacher is a genius! Highly recommended place!
Response: Hi Emmanuel! Thank you very much for your comment, we are very happy!

Maria Orellana: Excellent atmosphere cordiality very good attention to the public predisposition and very professional teachers especially dedication to each student throughout the course very reliable !!
Response: Hello Maria! Thank you for your comments. We wait for you at another time
